When the game hangs like that, I found that I can ESC to the main menu, hit the "Resume" button, and the game will carry-on from there.
That usually works for me as well, but didn't this last time.
A third confirmation here esc/resume, still needs to be hunted down.
- With the new Growth rate, my Homeworld (Earth) with 13 of 28 possible citizens will take 1,270 turns to get the next citizen. That’s with +41.35 growth per week from various sources.
- Bug: The Worldheart Borehole improvement claims it provides +1 culture point. It doesn’t.
- Bug: In Diplomacy trading, I typed in 1,000 credits and the AI wasn’t interested in the trade. I then reduced it to 500 with the same result. Then, I moused-clicked from 0 up to 1,500 credits (lots of clicking) and they accepted the trade.
- Bug: Others have mentioned this but wanted to confirm I’ve seen it, too: The Research Bar will show a reduced research time (like 7 turns) after an event or mission that adds research points, then will display 12 turns to complete the very next turn. I’ve seen this same bug when I add an asteroid mine to a Core World and production actually goes down. It corrects in the next turn.
- How do we increase Ideology percentages? Compassion has been stuck on 2% almost the entire game. Turn 421. I select the Compassion option almost all the time in the anomaly surveys, but it doesn’t seem to help.
- Please reduce the cooldown on the Invite Leaders Executive Order. On games with lots of planets, there are long droughts with lousy leaders that make it difficult to establish decent Core Worlds.
- Bugs: Immortality doesn’t appear to work. It doesn’t appear in the Growth UI in the Planet UI and Earth had a +114.84 before researching and it didn’t change after researching (I waited 2 turns after completing the research to be sure).
-- Technological Singularity doesn’t appear to work. (same process as above)
-- Economic Singularity doesn’t appear to work.
-- Cultural Conquest doesn’t appear to work.
-- Cascading Detonations works.
-- Drive System Optimization works.
-- Precursor Manufacturing Anomaly works (from heavily defended anomalies).
-- Precursor Production Anomaly works.
-- Precursor Wealth Anomaly works.
-- Precursor Influence Anomaly works.
- I don’t understand the numbers for Tourism. Overall Tourism for Earth is 24% in the Status Report on planet UI, but when I hover over Tourism, Open Immigration is at 20%, Wildland Refuge at 10%, and Galactic Festival at 10%, which would suggest the total should be 34%. Under Wealth on Planetary Output, Tourism is listed at just 12%.
- Update on Growth rate: I’ve been shipping citizens from other Core Worlds to Earth. With 20 of 24 possible citizens, it is 16,830 turns to the next citizen. Hey, I love playing your game, but not quite that much. .
- A citizen vanished from Earth. I had 17 citizens of a possible 24, I shipped in another transport to discover that my citizen count had dropped to 16. My food is at 105.6, so I don’t think that was the issue. I decommissioned the transport and am at 17 again. Then, next turn, citizen 17 was gone and I was back to 16. Then, the next turn I lost another one. Down to 15 citizens. And another one. Down to 14. No clue what is happening. Now down to 12 citizens. And 11. Ah! The Plague Trait has appeared under the Growth UI on the Planet UI. Would have been nice to get a bigger notification that a plague had started. Where’s Dr. Fauci? Plague finally ended. No action on my part. Earth is down to 9 citizens (and 142 turns to the next one). Wait, no indication of a plague under Growth UI, but Earth dropped to 8 citizens. 7.
- Bug?: 5 times now, after selecting Orbital Storage on a colony, the decay doesn’t change. Confirmed over multiple turns. Worked fine for other colonies.
