What can I tell you guys... It's my experience... I downloaded this software, installed it and started testing it to see if the value of it is real, well I have reported a problem on the right forum for that version, https://forums.stardock.com/507918/get;3824337, on Oct 31, 2021 18:35:33, but no one responded, not even the forum works right, because the images I posted, one just disappeared and when I try to edit the post, using the "edit button" nothing happens. So I can just say that a software that had a starting value of $5 and is now increasing every day, the day I published the above post it was already costing $29.99 today for example $35.99, and it doesn't respond to yours pre-clients and from what I saw, it also doesn't answer to who paid, as there are many posts on the forum without any response, for me it doesn't have this value, not even the initial one.
So just uninstalling... and good luck to you...
PS: I try to update, and everytime I try, since v0,96 it doesn't update just report that I had the lastest version...wtf...
Start11 is indeed $5.99

The other products have Start11 in them but are priced according to what else they include.
We have been unable to reproduce the problem you reported. The menu will automatically reposition itself to fit in all tests here.
You can be sure we do read all the posts even if we sometimes don't reply to them all.
Given your issue with updating, I would suggest uninstalling, REBOOTING, and then downloading the 1.01 installer directly from your account and installing that.
Be aware that the check for updates button in Start11 will not see Beta versions, only released versions, so it would be correct for it to say you have the latest version if you are using 1.0 as 1.01 is a beta.
The OP has posted that Non Object Desktop users (plain Start11 licensees) have the option to test 1.01.There is no way to download from our product page.We get this error:https://store.stardock.com/Controls/myaccount/This%20product%20is%20not%20yet%20available. Being able to start Terminal and other apps with elevated rights [Ctrl+Shift] that has now being fixed in 1.01 would be much appreciated.Thank you for reading.
I can report that I am able to download the Beta version from the link provided here
I like that they are separated the way they are between Beta and release, I think that was handled well.
I will now test start 11 report back if I find issues. I can tell that the fps animations are a lot better right off that bat.
Edit:
In windows 10 style, use a more faded background for tiles is not making any noticeable changes for me.
And why It's not open like the v0.96?
It is open for me as I am not a object desktop user myself. The link works fine for me as long as I am logged in under the email I bought start 11 from originally. There is both a download option and a download beta option listed
The only thing which could possibly explain why I cannot download the Beta is probably because I licensed the 5-Pack license. There is no download under that for the beta, I am still getting thehttps://store.stardock.com/error/?aspxerrorpath=/Controls/myaccount/This%20product%20is%20not%20yet%20available
errorIdeas, anyone?
That could be it. I have the single license that I purchased in the original Beta release. That either means I have a Beta License or they simply just forgot to plug the 5 - license version into the system. I am sure someone will be around to clarify soon
I also have the 5-pack license and the beta is not showing on my products page.
I'm on version 1.0 and the About screen does not offer an update to 1.01.
Usiing Windows 11 on Surface Pro 8.
Hello,
Do you see the beta download if you go your product page : https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products.
If it do not show up in your product page, could you post a screenshot on what you see.
Thanks
Basj,
Stardock Community Assistant.
The about screen will not offer beta updates. You have to go to your products page to download beta updates.
It will only impact tiles you have not altered the background colour for and only those without a custom tile image as the background in those is part of the image.
Got it now, thanks.
Two issues that I previously reported still appear to be present in beta 1.01.
Using the Start11 Win11 Start Menu:
1) Right clicking on some pinned apps and selecting (More/Run as administrator) will pop up an error. For example, doing this on the standard Win11 app, Defragment and Optimize Drives, will pop up the error. Interesting that if you open the app in administrator mode by Ctrl+Shift+Click that it opens in administrator mode without any error popping up. This issue happens on several pinned apps. The apps open correctly in the Windows 11 start menu.
2) If you create multiple pages and use the horizontal scroll mouse wheel you move over 2 pages at a time instead of 1 page. So, you would go from page 1 to page 3 instead of page 2. Does the same thing in either direction.
Start11 version 1.01
Windows 11 version 22000.348
Thtat does seem to be the reason - the 5 pack is not showing the Beta link. Ill have to look into getting that fixed.
In the meantime, I have posted a link to the beta in the 'Known issues' section of this thread.
Sorry for the trouble.
And you still haven't fixed this issue. Even though it was one of the earliest bugs reported with the last version.
I created the first issue by running 'as an administrator' an elevated command prompt tile (i.e. it was already set to run as administrator). Don't know if this helps.
Changing the color scheme to default did fix it for me as I did play around with the colors some. The faded option does give it a nice look too! I just was not clear on how the option worked
This issue should have been resolved in the 1.01 update.
Can you uninstall 1.01, reboot and then reinstall and see if that helps please.
Thank you for posting the Beta Link, for all 5-Pack users.
