Not support alphabets sort in Chinese characters (also all CJK characters, I guess):
It should be (original start menu of win10/11):
Please uninstall Start11, REBOOT (important) and reinstall 0.93
We specifically added sorting code for Chinese characters so this would be unexpected to say the least.
All my taskbar corner (system tray) icons disappear except the network connection/speaker one. Moving the mouse cursor over top of where the icons would be makes them appear again. This happens after I unlock the computer after screen put to sleep (perhaps other times, this is all I noticed). The only setting I have on in Start11 is turning the taskbar to completely transparent.
Another way to reproduce this taskbar corner tray icons disappearing is starting up WSL2 ubuntu by launching windows terminal (default to ubuntu). The tray icons will disappear pretty consistently. Although after a reboot it did not immediately remove the tray icons, but after using system for a little bit and launching windows terminal and waiting a second or so until WSL launched and the command prompt appeared, the tray icons would disappear. If I close windows terminal and relaunch it immediately, the tray icons stay. However I just closed terminal, waited maybe a minute or 2 and launched it again and my tray icons disappeared again while typing this message. For me, this is pretty consistent behavior. Close Terminal, wait 1-2 minutes, open terminal again and the tray icons disappear. I tried it out 4 times in a row just now.

Are you using a custom start button and if so which one and is your start button set to centre or left?
Menu appearing in wrong spot when clicking start
I have a 3 monitor setup
When I click start on monitor 1, the menu appears centered on monitor 2
When I click start on monitor 2, the menu appears split between monitor 2 and 1
Also I just noticed, if there is any application window on monitor 2, start menu appears correctly.
But if there is no application window open on monitor 2, then the menu is split between 2 & 1
When I click start on monitor 3, the menu doesn't show up at all
I saw another thread about this but can not find it right now.
Have three screens, with center one Primary, and installing this Start11 version results in no response on any screen when clicking the start button. Restored to the previous Start11 version and it works fine.
Running Win11 build 22000.282.
Do you have a custom start button image and if so which one and if not are you left aligned or centred taskbar buttons?
*Not* using custom start button image and left aligned. Thanks
Does it by any chance reproduce if you right click on Start11 menu and pick configure Start11?
Issue: In modern style (any variant), the horizontal line separating pinned icons from other icons appears in the wrong place at first, and does not correct itself until I mouse over the start menu. Additionally, even after mouseover, a remnant of the misplaced line will remain on the right side.
Steps to Reproduce:
Windows Version: Windows 11 21H2 (Build 22000.282)
Start11 Version: 0.93
Screenshots:
1. Before mousing over the start menu:
2. After mousing over the start menu:
Still cannot see recent files for programs which are installed outside of the program files folders.
*Version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.282) Win11
- program is installed here:
C:\Portable Programs\Reaper (x64)
reaper.exe (latest version, incremental upgrades since the beginning of when ive used start11)
on the old win10 start menu, it would find recent files for this
in the current start11 start menu, all other programs find recent items.
right click the reaper shortcut, no recent files. You CAN get to the shortcut however, which is nice. Previous versions wouldn't open file location. But no recent files.
I moved the entire portable programs folder underneath program files, reinstalled the program, still nothing.
making the menu fullscreen takes away all programs i pinned:
Taskbar labels still aren't like previous win versions in that you can combine and have them named per monitor, but I dont know if that's even planned:

https://forums.stardock.com/507225/start11---never-combine-and-menu-start-like-windows-10
I am afraid we can only show what the OS can provide us. The item in question has no jump list so we cannot show one.
Your items should still all be visible.
If you mouseover the black area do they show, or scroll using a wheel mouse?
Recent files works on the taskbar, but not in the start menu as stated above

no,
I think I'm getting closer to figuring it out. The shortcuts of my portable programs reaper (jump list not working) was placed here:
However, when I reinstalled under the program files menu, the shortcut was here:
and now it works:
Sorry for wasting your time! If anyone else has this problem, however, here ya go
it seems you have to select between the two views here:
Yes the tray icons disappear when the config dialog comes up
With your battlefield issue, does this continue if you set Use the Start11 start menu to off in Start11 settings (on the start menu page). Also what if you run battlefield in a window? Finally do you have Start11 search enabled or disabled?
Yes it does still happen, still the same problem in windowed too, I have the Start11 search enabled also tried it with it disabled.
The system tray icons disappearing is definitely something to do with "custom start button image" being turned off, they don't disappear when it's turned on.

If I choose define capitalization - See web results by keyboard (Tab-then-Enter, or Down-arrow-then-Enter), the executed search does not use the entered terms:
If I instead choose it by mouse-click, the Web search plays out as expected.

No, I have everything off in Start11 except for the taskbar being set to transparent. Settings tabs in Start11-

Some issues I have with RC3 windows 10 style.
Animation with this version is very jerky. Even with animation off or in Full screen. RC2 was almost smooth.
Need to click start button or tapping windows key 3 times to open the Start Menu. This happens only when no application is open. As soon as you open for example notepad, the start menu will show every time.
Right mouse click on the start menu is not always responding.
Right mouse click an icon sometimes freezes it completely and makes the start menu unusable.
Pick color window sometimes closes, when clicking in the window instead of clicking a color.
Start Menu configuration screen get sometimes unresponsive. Need to click on the start button to show and hide the start menu to get it working again.
After uninstalling start11 and reinstalling it after reboot the issues remain the same.
Things that are great now.
Rearranging and adding groups.
Show or hide application list. Maybe another button for showing both on the menu under the show app list and show tile list.
Pick color for the tiles.

Moving to next or previous page, with for example shift mouse wheel.
How many icons and pages do you have on your menu?
What is your computers cpu usage like when it does the animations?
