When you install Start11 RC2, you lose all groups/settings of Windows 10 standard menu... And when you have an extensive menu, you lose a lot of time.
Start11 could import these Windows 10 menu groups for reuse in Start11 win10 layout or as groups/panes in win11 layout.We could import these groups as fences too.

An upgrade to Win11 would wipe out the Win10 menu information I believe.
I don't think so... In early release you could restore your old start menu by adding a key in regedit (Windows 11). I confirm all my previous config was there at that time.
I think Cro$ost just disable the feature. They are too lazy to remove it completely ^^
For what i care anyway... Start11 is awesome and will be even better than the original Start Menu in the end
