I have DeskScapes 10 on Windows 10. I want to uninstall DeskScapes. But when I try, a dialogue says DeskScapes is running and I should quit it first.
There seems to be no option to quit DeskScapes. How do I stop DeskScapes from running?
Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues.
open DeskScapes app click on settings

DeskScapes 10 has no such menu or button.
Seems I remembering it being top right corner.
If all else fails, simply kill or disable the services in both services.msc and task manager?
Sorry i have DS11 but yea I too thinnk top right hand. corner click there i think was the disable option. For DS10
If I remember correctly, Deskscape 10, you just need to set your Windows desktop wallpaper to something else, right click on desktop->personalize-> background-> Slideshow or solid color.
That will then auto off Deskscape.
Thank you,

Hello, OP here.
I can confirm that the DeskScape 10 settings do not have a "Disable" option. Nor can you disable DeskScapes by changing the Windows wallpaper to something else.
I ended up killing the process from task manager as Redneckdude suggested. The uninstallation seemed to go over well after that, so issue is resolved.
Thank you to everyone.
Glad to have helped.
