Does the same happen if you do not have Start11 installed?I ask as the taskbar is blurred without Start11 too and I suspect this is an OS level problem rather than something specific to Start11.A low end graphics card is a possible reason if it struggles with the blur.
It doesn't seem to happen once I uninstall Start 11, I'm also using an RTX 2070 Super so I don't think it's caused by a weak GPU at least in my case.
I should have also noted that the only thing that slows is the mouse input, anything else running at the time continues running in the background without issue.
I don't recall seeing this in Beta 0.5, but it's in 0.55.A minor typo. 👇
Is this when right clicking on the start menu or in explorer?
Less of a bug report, more of a wishlist.
The ability to ungroup the icons would be awesome. In Win10 we were able to set the taskbar to ungroup icons until the taskbar was full. Can Start11 enable that in Win11 since the overlords at MS have taken it away from us?
It's when right clicking on any app from the right hand shortcuts pop out menus of Start11, such as Recent Items, Universal Applications, Windows Tools or I think any other menu enabled (Display as a menu) in the Start Menu > Configure > Places List.
Please let me know if you need any more information.

Is the ability to change the start button icon ( not its position ) , a change on the cards for this version , as in properties of Start 10 ?
The default Microsoft blue icon is a bit bland !

I'm seeing an issue where mousing over the items in the right-hand side places list (when configured to 'Display as Menu') only about first 80% of the menu items are accessible. This is regardless of the length of the menu - eg a menu with12 items the mouse reaches 10 of them.
The mouse highlight cursor stops highlighting at the item that's ~80% - they are also not selectable by the mouse (scrolling with arrow keys works).

On the Beta all new apps are highlighted and I can't find a setting to turn it off like I could in Start10.

OK it appears to be intermittent or caused by some other setting/app because since shutting down the PC last night and starting it again this morning the issue has disappeared.
I'll try and take note of what may initiate the problem if it occurs again.

Why Start11 works only on Win 11 ? I install trial on Win 10 19044.1202 and its dosent work.

No error, but Start11 its not changing anything.

I think I've found the cause of the issue - it seems to occur on the *first* login to our corporate network (whether remotely via VPN or direct connection in the office). Logging into corporate applies some group policies etc but I don't have access to those so can't examine what's in them. It also means various corporate remote management utilities become active: Matrix42 & Dameware Mini Remote Control being the main ones.
When first reported I was working from home and had made (then disconnected) a VPN session. Today I'm in the office and on first startup the issue was there, but Groupy wanted an update and after rebooting Start11 is fine (though I'm still on the corporate net).
Probably an extreme corner-case but hope it helps...
There is no current trial of Start11.
Then why i use trial ? I download beta Start11 and active trial on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
I'm using the beta 0.55 for Win11 (22000.194) but I can't change the language. I need it in spanish if possible. Any chance?
Translated versions should be available with version 1.0
Translating the betas isn't cost effective as UI design changes too much which means more things to translate.
