Does the new Start 11 work in Windows ARM on the M1 Mac in Parallels? If not, are you planning a Windows ARM-compatible version or should I forget about using Start in that context?
Hello,For what I know, there is no Stardock's software that support ARM base CPU right now. It might be in the future.
ThanksBasj,Stardock Community Assistant.
It is something we are still considering for Start11 as we have had a number of requests.
I'm curious on why it wouldn't. Unless you're installing a device driver, the OS will run x64 and x86 apps if no ARM64 variant is available.
Well, seems I found the answer here... You can install it but when it actually goes to add on the Start Menu, I get this message and it won't do anything. Save yourself the $5.
They should really add a disclaimer that it requires an Intel install of Windows.... and refund my $5.
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. You can raise a support ticket for refund using this link below

Hello,
When do you support start 11 for windows 11 ARM?
Hello, we are waiting for this support as well. we changed most of our MAC systems to M1 and we will be very excited to get Start11 running under Parallels with Win11 ARM64. Kind regards
Start11 is worthless with you M1/ARM support.
What is the status of Start 11 support for parallels/ARM, please? I have purchased Start 11 and cannot use it on my mac with parallels/windows.
Sorry, no updates on this yet.
Thank you,
Basj,Stardock Community Assistant
If you don't give your long time customers some hope that this is coming, and being worked on, you will force them to go another direction and lose them for ever.
All Mac computers have now transitioned to Apple Silicon/ARM64. We need products like Start11 to support Windows 11 running on Parallels VM. Otherwise you're now completely excluding the Apple community from utilizing your software. Please help!
