Roger. It works, but on dual monitors will just play my rendered video on the Primary (1) monitor. I know I'm asking a lot but if there were a way to set a separate screensaver for each monitor I would be in heaven As that way I could display a portrait rendered video on one, and a landscape on the other. Or alternatively, if the video was rendered to a virtual space that included the geometry of both monitors, that would be a start. That seems to be how the MS Ribbons screensaver works. Even if you have 2 monitors side by side, but one arranged higher than the other, the ribbons will transfer between the monitors without tearing or offsetting as if they are all part of a virtual single display. It's quite cool...
PLEASE test that with 3.12 (the beta) as soon a possible and report back on this thread please:https://forums.stardock.com/506115/page/2/#3813847

Have given it a go, seems to work as designed using the auto-hide feature / double click to show or hide icons, so no issues to report.
Excellent, ty.
Windows 21H1 build 190043.1110
I have 3 Monitors on one, a single background which at boot starts and animates as normal, on both of the other two I have setup playlists when first booting up a background appears on both of these monitors but is static, once the timed change point is reached the next backgrounds amimate as expected, the app continued to work from then on.
Windows 21H1 build 190043.1165
On the 'Welcome' screen, in the section 'Recent backgrounds', deleted dreams continue to be displayed. They have a solid black thumbnail and filename.dream as the description. They end up taking screen space that should be used for valid backgrounds. The dreams had been deleted through the Deskscapes interface.
Very minor bug:
On the 'Settings:Performance' panel, Quality Setting One (no smoothing) - text is in German.
I have Windows Pro 21H2 build 190044.1266 & purchased & tried the DeskScapes 11 Beta. I found that my animated dreams only animate for a few seconds or so, then remain static. I didn't see anyone else mention about this issue in this post, so I'm not sure if Stardock is aware of the issue or not. This is a small bug but it's very annoying, especially since I paid the 5 bucks to upgrade from DS 10. I used the DSPurge batch script that I downloaded from another thread in the Stardock Forums (I don't recall which offhand) to ensure everything was removed from the old version & then reinstalled DS 11 Beta. That didn't fix the issue, it still animates for a little while, then remains static. This is the screensaver portion that I'm referring to, in case I forgot to say, so as a workaround I used DSPurge again to remove DS 11 & reinstalled DS 10. DS 10 works as expected, except sometimes it gets stuck if the screensaver is going & I try to exit. That usually resolves within 15-30 seconds, but once in a while I have to have Windows force quit DS 10 to exit the screensaver. Maybe that issue was fixed in DS 11, but I can't use that version yet because it doesn't seem to keep my dreams animated when I use it as a screensaver like DS 10 does. Any suggestions would be helpful...
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. Is the issue happen on all dreams? or just specific dreams?
ThanksBasj,Stardock Community Assistant.
This happens on all of the ones I tried. I think those dreams were made for DS 10 or earlier. Regardless of which theme I use, when I try it in DS 11, it doesn't keep the theme animated. Also, the themes that come with DS 11 I couldn't even get to work at all, so I can't tell you much about those dreams. I get all of the extra dreams & cursors I want off of WinCustomize.com, which I assume is the correct place to get those. I usually try out the stuff I download to be sure it works & all, so I think it may be some kind of bug in DS 11 that wasn't yet addressed. Seems like it's not just in the screensaver portion of the program, as when I click on a dream & let it preview, it animates for a little bit, then stops & stays still. Doesn't do that in DS 10, they all animate & loop around like they're supposed to, even in the preview window. I like DS 11 because there seems to be a bug in DS 10 on the screensaver portion, as sometimes it has trouble exiting the screensaver when it runs. It especially has trouble if I preview the screensaver, then try to exit... I recall having to force quit DS 10 just to be able to use my computer again if I previewed the screensaver. It's less severe if I just let the screensaver launch by itself when it's time & then move the mouse or tap a key on the keyboard, but I do have to wait up to 30 seconds for it to fully exit from screensaver mode. I didn't mention it earlier because I figured they probably fixed that issue in DS 11, which they seemed to, but now DS 11 has the issue of not being able to keep the dreams animated. I'll still use DS 10 in the meantime, despite the screensaver bug (which I can live with since it's minor), but as soon as DS 11 gets the issue I mentioned fixed, I'll try that again & see how it is then. Fingers crossed...

Hello geeky1977,
Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.
Thank you,
Okay, I followed the steps mentioned in the "Purging and re-installing" section. I ran the DSPurge script, let it do its thing & rebooted. I then installed DS 11, ran the DS_Restart script, let it run its course & rebooted. I tried some themes that were installed with DS 11, plus a couple I installed separately. It would animate them in the preview window, however it doesn't animate any of them when I go to try it out in screensaver mode. That sucks, so I ran the DSPurge script again, rebooted & reinstalled DS 10. IDK what the issue with DS 11 could be that it can animate the dreams in the preview window but not in the screensaver mode. Seems to me like there's a bug in the screensaver part of DS 11 that prevents the dreams from animating, since DS 10 works perfectly, except for that problem of exiting the screensaver, which DS 11 resolves. I hope they can fix the issue with the DS 11 screensaver so it works correctly & all in the near future. Thanks for the help so far...
Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues.
I can't repo your issue it's working for me , so I would like you to check settings .
In Ds11 app bottom left click on Settings the settings again
then you in the settings app ( see below ) 3 options in a drop down
I have mine set on EVR , try all 3 settings and see if one works better for you
AzDudeStardock Community Assistant
Thanks AzDude! I changed my settings in DS11 just like you said & it was set at EVR already. I can't use that mode, which is why my dreams wouldn't animate. So I can either use Media Foundation or VMR-9 for any of my dreams/animated wallpapers. IDK why the other person didn't tell me that, but I'm glad you told me about it. I tweaked a few other settings too while I was at it, so now DS11 is set up just the way I like it & I can use that instead of DS10.
BTW, I noticed under the recently installed animated backgrounds section that it shows themes I used before that are not currently installed. I can't seem to get rid of them by selecting & choosing delete theme, so I'm thinking it's remembering that somehow like a file history feature would. I went to the advanced section & cleared the extracted files & online cache folders, but that didn't fix the issue because I still see them. I don't see a setting for DS11 to remember (or not) file/folder history like I do in some programs, but maybe I missed it. I added a couple of screenshots. Here's where I first found some deleted/uninstalled themes. I circled the area in red for clarification:
Here's another area I found some uninstalled/deleted themes. This was at the end of the list, but I included it just in case:
Definitely seems like a file history setting to me. Maybe there's a setting to clear the old/uninstalled themes & I missed it, but I'm not sure. When I was using DS10, I just opened the folder & deleted the themes that I didn't need, so maybe those got leftover somehow when I upgraded to DS11 & it remembered them somehow. Would like to know how to get rid of them so they don't show up in my list. I know I can right-click to select & delete them, but I can't seem to delete more than 1 at a time using that method. Figured that was worth mentioning...
P.S. How do I make my own animated themes?? I know it has a feature for that & has some preinstalled templates, but I was wondering can I add my own templates if I wanted to? Does WinCustomize have templates for DS11 or do I just make them somehow?? I got a bunch of regular static backgrounds in JPG format, so I was hoping I could make some dreams from them. Are the effects & stuff also predefined or are there additional FX I can get somewhere??? I never made a dream/animation before, so I figured I should get some helpful advice on that so I know what I'm doing & all...
Update: I just found the page "DeskScapes 11: The Dream Maker Pro Tool" in the Stardock blog. It's from May of 2021, but that explains how to get started & all with animating a still image. It didn't really say about the templates though, so I still have that inquiry left. I did Google it to see what came up, but I didn't see any relevant answers to that particular question. So, just want to know if I can get more templates &/or make my own?? Thanks...
Those are all the Templates that are shown there are no others , with Dream Maker Pro you can use one of those templates and make
changes to it if you want before render , or you can Start with a new Jpeg static image and make up your own animation.
Once you have created a new animation you can save that file along with the static image for future use again or a reminder
of the animations you used to create that animation .
If you have other questions about Dream Maker Pro you can post them in a new thread ( Best ) or PM me if needed .

Thanks that was helpful.
Hi.
W11 Final v22000.258 here.
Hardware is Ryzen 5800x, B550 Chipset, Nvidia 3060Ti
Whenever I apply an animated wallpaper and switch desktops with "CTRL+WIN+LEFT or RIGHT ARROW", DS11 force quits and returns desktop to its original wallpaper.
Since I change desktops continuously I haven´t been able to use DS11 at all.
Please fix.
Thanks.
I have forwarded your report to the Stardock support team for their review and recommendations.
Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates.
We really do appreciate your feedback, thanks.
I would like to have a filter in place, so I can sort away all themes that are not 4K.
There is no filter for that at the present time
but all 4K dreams will run on HD screens just fine
if that's what your thinking ..
Hi,I'm using DeskScapes 11 (with Object Docks) and I keep having this problem (wallpaper being shattered at the bottom) :I tried every monitor settings (fit, stretch, center, etc...) but none could fix this.My video card is GeForce RTX 2060. On my desktop I have Widget Launcher (from Microsoft store) and Nexus Dock (http://www.winstep.net/nexus.asp)Any help would be much appreciated,Thanks in advance.
The other way around, I have a 4K screen, and dont want to see the HD only backgrounds. They are a little too low resolution for my liking, so I would like to only see 4K themes in the search list.
