Many years ago I asked for financial help for vStyler, and the community responded. I need to ask for that help again as John's vehicle was totalled a couple of weeks ago, and it is impacting his life even more than other factors were already.
His insurance paid off the vehicle and he has a rental until tomorrow, but after that the rental service wants a $300 deposit and $100 a day to rent a car! He currently designs music software interfaces for a company overseas, but income is minimal and sporadic. His wife works at a minimal income job, but she doesn't drive, so he has to have a car to take her back and forth to work, buy groceries when he can, etc. He also does DoorDash deliveries when he can, but that also provides really minimal income.
If anyone can help him out at all please, please let me know. If he cannot get a car, he and his wife may be homeless soon too.

He does not deserve this type of life, and prices in his state for everything, rent, utilities, food... you name it... are totally ridiculous.

Tom, after what you told me about the payout for buying any of his skins, and how late it would be, I sent some money via PayPal instead. I be buying some of his skins in May/June instead though.

OK, maybe a dumb question. Last time his Paypal was basically his username so why not write it in the description? I'm sure some people feel the extra effort to log in and send a PM annoying, when it's the transaction itself that is important.
If donors have to send a PM first I think 30 % of donations will never happen. I'm just being honest and maybe a little grumpy (for unrelated reasons).
So my suggestion is to state his Paypal address in the description and if that isn't a good idea for some reason you can PM me his Paypal address LightStar.
Another thing to keep in mind is that collecting money takes time. Until this thread has been up for a month we don't really know how many are willing to give.
Hi anotherside, John's PayPal email address is his personal email address, which has changed since the last time he was in trouble like this. I just did not feel that making it public on a public site would be a good idea. Heck, my email address is not public and I still get 10-20 SPAM emails a day! If users can contribute, they can post here in this thread that they wish to and then I can send them A PM too. That should be easier. Thanks for your concerns.
