If you look over here: WindowBlinds 2001 in 2021 » Forum Post by Frogboy (wincustomize.com) you will see that there are a lot of great skins for WindowBlinds that just don't work well in 2021 for a variety of reasons.
We are looking for modern recreations of OS skins that work with Windows 10 using WindowBlinds.
In particular:
We would be looking for modern recreations without skinner embellishment except when it involves a UI control that didn't exist back then (start menu, etc.) and even then the goal would be to make it appear as if it were part of the OS.
If you are interested (and you would need to have a Master level of skinning experience) respond here and we'll get in touch.
Hey Brad,
Interested big time!!!
Hell yeah, Brad ! -I'm up for it
-Been doing this 4 quite some time now and I,m sure I'd do a Killer Job ReCreating the styles for Win 10!
I might be interested Brad, I will at least consider it, but it would depend on certain things that could be discussed.
Sure, I am interested too.
I'd be interested, but, looks like it's covered .....so, I'll bow out.
Some OS Themes recreated recently with Windows Blinds (Though in a way, are more recent OS) they also have Start10 skins to go with them! They are pretty accurate to their respective Os's, made to work with windows 7/8/10. If Aero Glass could fully be implemented into Windows Blinds, Jumplist Skinning, improved taskbar button/system tray skinning, then I don't see why they couldn't be included as default skins for Windows Blinds.

maybe the could be doshed out equally amongst folks..,. thats a significant amount of work... How long per theme does Stardock expect them to take? Realistically.
Curious.
I havent made a skin for probably 5 + years, but... isnt it like riding a bike
If there was room for me, I would be there too! I have in fact updated several older skins for my personal use.
Thanks for the replies all! I'm in the process of reaching out to everyone about this.
@vStyler: From what I understand, we expect updating an old skin could take an afternoon or so, while creating a new skin that doesn't have an old baseline could take a couple days.
Thanks, 'preciate it, seems reasonable to me.,
Hello, Mr. Frogboy and guys.
I put a post on Mr.Folden's "NeXTSTEP" skin and recent Ms.Tatiora's post on Stardock Blog.
see https://forums.stardock.com/505645/a-long-comment-onto-mstatioras-post-on-stardock-blog .
It's related with this your old post.
So, this never happened, I guess... Can anyone shed a little light on this?
It happened, on my part, finished it. Not sure about the rest. I believe some of us get selected. Not sure who, and assigned few skins each.
Thank you,
