I've experienced a problem where the game crashes after the invasion animation reaches what appears to be the end of the invasion.
I've had this happen on two planets now. The previous crash was "fixed" by dropping my graphics settings. For this crash I tried dropping the graphics settings to their minimums and it has not helped. I don't know why this would have fixed anything in the first place, as my graphics card seems to handle everything quite well.
Please help me fix this! This is pretty frustrating, because I'm 200 turns in and only have 10% of the galaxy conquered in a thrilling game
I'm running windows 10 and have the following DLCs:
Upload a save game for the devs to review, using Dropbox or another similar service.

If you have a savegame where this is reproducible it would help a lot if you uploaded it to a cloud service (DropBox, Google Drive, One Drive) and post a link here, the developers can take a look at it.

I started another game on a smaller map and I had the same problem the first time I tried using a custom invasion.

An additional issue I noticed: when there is more than one popup at the start of a turn (say two civs contact you) I click on the first one and the second (and third and fourth if they come up) disappear as well. I'm not sure if I'm handing out money or declaring war or what. In game 2 I found out that I was at war with the Terran Alliance when they attacked my ship. I may have clicked through multiple popups if that makes sense.
I loaded the first file, invaded Altaria with Biological Warfare invasion, no crash. Reloaded and tried with Conventional invasion, still no crash.
As for the second file, which is the planed you tried to invade? I can't find any invasion ships in position.
I have since deleted the second game. I'm unsure. Is there a way to do a quick invasion with biological warfare or other invasion options? That would solve my problem I believe.
Specs can help graphic card type speed how much video ram. Computer memory. How much memory. Map size. it sounds like your graphic card may be at a minimum where the battle may be to much. Check to see if your graphic driver is up to date. If it is try reverting to the earliest one you knew worked. If you don’t know that, try reverting to the previous one. I would also try quick battle. Worse case scenario you may have to try quick battles.
It looks like quick battle works. I was under the impression that it wouldn't let you use invasion options, but It looks like you can. Don't worry about me now.
I have 24GB of RAM and 4GB of graphics RAM, so maybe it is a driver.
