I don't know about other people, but one thing bothers me for a long time, the "tick" sign in dark mode of the Groupy UI. It is SO HARD to tell whether a tick is checked or not.
Just look at the image I have uploaded.
The color of those ticks are too similar and the shape doesn't help differentiate them at all.
It is quite hard for user to know on the first look (or haven't see it for a while). Sometime we open the setting and we need to pay close attention to see whether that option have been checked or not, not a very convenient design.
I think a tiny change in design can solve all the unnecessary confusion, for example switch the "tick" design to something like this (https://codepen.io/valerypatorius/full/oXGMGL) or like the image below.
Hope the dev team can improve on the design
Hello,I believe that "selected mark" color is base on your accent color. But, I have forwarded your questions/problems to the Stardock Support team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
Thank You,BasjStardock Community Assistant.
I think the issue is your global accent colour which is used for ticked.
The groupy UI uses a light grey for unticked, but it looks like you have set your global accent colour to white or a grey?
This means the ticked colour is very similar.
That is some what unexpected🤣, never thought about the accent color.
Yes, I do have selected a dark grey for my global accent color.
Hope the support team can provide a better solution other than changeing color.
