The close "x" on the top right corner of a group closes only the active tab.
The only way I see to close the entire group is to right-click a tab and choose "close all windows in this group"
Since each tab already has its own "x" to close a tab, I see this as redundant.
It's frustrating and unnecessary steps to have to right-click and take a second to find the "close all windows" to close a group and click it.
Is there a way to have the "x" on the top right corner of a group close the entire group?
This would be a great help!
Hello,Sorry to hear you are having issues. At its current version, Groupy has no such option. There were few feature requests on the same option asked by other users. But, I can't let you know if and when it will be implemented.
And, I have forward your request to the Stardock Support Team for their review and recommendations. We really do appreciate your feedback.
Thanks.BasjStardock Community Assistant.
I was just about to make the same suggestion. An "x" on the top right corner of a group to close the entire group. IMO this would be a great feature.
I completely agree with this suggestion. It's completely unnecessary to force users to take extra steps when closing a group can be so much easier.Unfortunately, Stardock doesn't listen to customer feedback, and apparently they don't have any competent UX people working on the Groupy. If they had any competent UX people working on the product, this would have been fixed a long time ago.Such a shame.
I would agree, this option would be nice to have.
It's been implemented in update 1.4! Thank you!
