Sorry to hear you are having trouble.
If you are using DeskScapes 8, this was the result of a Windows update that broke that functionality. DS10, the newest version, does not suffer from that issue. You can upgrade at a discount from here:https://www.stardock.com/products/deskscapes/download

ok so your product doesn't support this operating system anymore but there's an update that fixes it, only i have to pay you for it? I'm pretty sure this isn't how that's supposed to work.

ya i've read that. basically all your customers are saying what i'm saying. i bought this thing maybe 2 months ago and now you are telling me to buy it again? I expect you to find your supervisor's supervisor and have them contact me directly. Either give me the fix or refund me.

It was 03/28/2019 which would put it well past the 30 day refund window.
If you have read that thread in its entirety, you should see what happened, why we had to stop supporting DS8, and what discounts we offered to owners of DS8. If we aren't allowed to recoup the costs of development, and compensate our staff for doing so, we will not be able to continue to produce the quality products you have come to expect from us.
As a reminder, the discount for being a DS8 owner would only have DS10 costing $4.99 USD.
That said, and as pointed out in that thread, DS8 will work with multiple monitors; just some concessions need to be made on resolutions for each ( need to be the same ). We did not make it so that was the case, Microsoft made changes that made it so for that version.

Same here. Just purchased assuming I can use on function on two monitors but show difference slideshow background. Hope to have this feature provided.

Not exactly the same, you purchased DS10.
You can manually apply different Dreams / walls on any number of monitors, just not with the 'random' option. That feature is being considered.
No offense, but you guys are acting like this product is actually expensive... it's not. And it's even more affordable if you have the previous version. Desktop/OS customization software is a niche market. There aren't too many competent alternative apps out there, so stop acting like you're going to just "uppity-do" and take your money elsewhere. I understand that when you spend MONEY you want your product to work, but I for one am grateful that there even is a software available for purchase in the first place! Seriously, no butt-kissing, THANK YOU for even making this slight-hobby of pc customization feasible in such a way! It's one thing to have a complaint, or even to be disappointed, but the blatant disrespect in some of these threads is disgusting. That's how it is in technology--even for software that's years old. It's Five Dollars... Stop acting like they haven't fix dozens of bugs and issues for years just because one of yours hasn't been. $5. Don't act like you didn't just buy that popeyes chicken sandwich or some other nonsense 2 days ago.
Yet some of us are just now using our codes to find out we purchased a software that went obsolete in just a year and are expected to pay an additional $5 just for animated pictures. Unbelievable.
DS8 works with win 10 the new version to DS10 ( with lot of new features ) is an upgrade .
