so ive read a reddit post about the changes retribution brought us. about 4 changes to carriers.
why cant we change carrier fighters still?

so yea, that was my question.
me reading that post seeing 4 carrier updates implied that there was no update to manually set the fighters. i cant believe you eventually convinced me you were so thick i had to explain something as basic as this to you.
What do you want to change?
If it's just the look, I guess the XML experts here know a way to mod it, but it's also pretty easy with the in-game "customize your fleet style" function:
Edit the bomber, sniper, guardian type using your own tiny hull templates. That way I got carriers to use my own ships.
the game has that function? i need to look into it then.
well, i dont know how it works, but changing the civilization after starting a game doesnt change the faction thats in the game appearently. my save file still shows the stock fighters after changing the templates. shame. i really dont want to restart my match. for the first time, im actually doing okey. usually i die rather quickly. but i will save it for next time. now that i know theres a whole fleet designer you can do before starting a match, i will do that first.
