I though it might be a nice feature if visiting alien Starbases or planets that can act like starbases: Maelhnir, MenMack, the Mercenaries colonies for examples to have a gambling feature where Resource Units could be bet for the chance to win either resources or more R.U.The gambling game could be like Blackjack, Stones of Wisdom / Liar's dice, the Royal Game of UR (which is an ancient backgammon pre-cursor). It would give certain Starbases a feel like DS9 or some Star Wars dive bar. It could be a place to overhear important information.
Not that it’s a strategy game not a role playing, first person, or third person game.
Something like this could definitely add some interesting flavor to the universe and mechanics, I think their may be some particulars that need to be discussed when it comes to gambling mini games, but I'll add it to my notes for the team
