No controls on mine either.
(Windows 10 IP 18282)
Doesn't matter what player, skinned or ignored, no controls on thumbnail previews...
(they're barely visible at the bottom of the preview frame...)
and, Taskbar thumbnail preview frames still look like crap...
and, UWP still won't skin Title Bar...

And read carefully, please. And do not tell as there "no such bug".
I believe the issues is known and was noted by the Support Team before. And Mike (Azdude) pushed the issue again yesterday. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

What skin are you using?
The skins are different - the bug is the same.
What is the name of the WindowBlinds skin you're using?
"Christmas Holidays" by adni18
For the life of me I cannot figure out why I am 2 versions behind everyone on WIN 10. It still shows updates are current.
Any ides on how to tell it to update?
Google "Windows update assistant" should give you some ideas how to update.

Firstly, your build is Redstone 4 (17734) which is only one build behind Redstone 5 (an official release of Windows 10). For release information, refer to the following web page:

While the Windows Media Creation tool is interesting, you could try the following web page where you can download a free Windows 10 v1809 17763.107 ISO. Then use a DVD burning program to burn the ISO to a DVD and install the new version of Windows over the top of your current version of Windows 10. The following website produces legal MS links to free ISOs:

Yeah, the installer kept on prompting a re-boot request due to my last version still installed, so I uninstalled it, now it works perfectly!

The link I provided has an update button in which it will update Windows to the current version instead of burning an ISO and reinstalling Windows.
An online web update across builds is contingent upon internet speed, congestion, and security. I would never rely on the integrity of a web or cloud connection to update my entire operating system across builds. An ISO is much more secure and versatile and can be used with DISM for repair of Windows, even if there is no internet connection. A web update is not something that I can recommend.
Hello,
Even after the update, still universal apps are not skinning as they should ,
Please see screenshot below...
Have included working skinned universal apps and not working...
Cheers
I think Apps that have system integration will skin properly, Apps that are exclusively cloud based may not.
This did the trick thanks AlMonty.
Many thanks Stardock for this update; Steam app now looks exactly as it should! Prior to the 10.74 update, Steam had a strange border anomaly, but not any more...Again thank you, and please keep up the great work!
While I will admit to a degree of levity in my commending stardock developers, I still think that they deserve recognition for all the betas they have recently released. This demonstrates an unusual level of responsiveness. I apologize if my posting of an animated rose offended anyone. Just thought it might arouse a laugh or two.
I have used Windowblinds on and off for several years. I don't think that it is realistic to believe that Windowsblinds is going to skin EVERYTHING. For example, some apps and programs provide their own interface (skins). I can't remember seeing Windowblinds skin Microsoft Office components like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. Some universal apps or 3rd party programs may not skin.
Also, there are a lot of old Windowblinds skins that don't map well to Windows 7 and Windows 10. So this may account for why there are unexpected screen artifacts. If you are awaiting Stardock to address perceived bugs in Windowblinds, try to be patient. I believe Stardock will eventually address most of the bugs, if they are bugs.
I wrote twice. And my comments were deleted twice, - what's the matter? Is this Valentine's cards page or FORUM?
I asked the question, and I ask again - WHEN IT WILL BE FIXED?
I deleted them, twice, and will again if I feel any reply is more caustic than constructive. Repeated YELLING, about the same issue, is not constructive. Some of your other comments that were not deleted.
I do not often sterilize posts here and there is no feedback that I will censor that is civil, constructive, or a passionate critique. What I care about is the tone, content, and context. While I allowed others that did not fit that well, there are limits.
As I have stated in the past, it has been logged internally but I have nothing new to report nor a timetable when it will be addressed. I understand that is frustrating - I share it.
Your dedication to pointing out this lone issue is commendable. Thank you for your feedback and concern for the product, ElectroSelf, it is appreciated. All of the fixes what we have had for this version, and all the others, is from feedback from people like you that care about the product and its success.
