WindowBlinds 10.74 has been released. You can get it from your account page or using the following link here.
It does this on my laptop, but it doesn’t do it on my desktop. There’s a setting in google to turn this on and off. I don’t remember where it is. It started after the new google update.
Tested on my Laptop, Visual Studio 2017 Community is still crashing on startup.
Please post your WB version including winver like a Screenshot below :
Thank you,

Hello basj,
why do the files of WindowBlinds all have a much older date for me than you? I'm asking, because maybe it could be a reason that I still have some issues with my Win10 for build 18267.1001.
Greetings Ebs
What is your Windows 10 version actually? What the winver.exe gives you?
With regards with your questions. I am not sure why your files dates are different than mine. But, if you want just to make sure, you can always do the purge and reinstall (https://forums.stardock.com/486023/windowblinds-support-faq#reinstalling) that most probably get all your WB files to the latest one.
Another shot of Chrome with Street Light WB. Notice the tiny gap up top. I was able to click through the title bar to open a new tab or close it. There are no min/max close or rollup buttons visible but I was able to close the browser by clicking on the position of the close button. The buttons are there you just can't see them.
@basj
thanks a lot!
Have WB 10.73 reinstalled after your reference, but unfortunately did not help. From winver.exe: Insider Version 1809 (build 18267.1001)
My Issues:
1. High CPU usage as long as a WB topic is enabled. Once again on "default theme" (disabled) is quiet.
Causale: Task-Manager: Desktop-Window-Manager: CPU load too high
2. Part of the theme does not work (all explorer pages are shown halfway through (for example: Diamond, Dreamland, Fero)
Some work well (Black Vista V3, Sportsman, Navigator, Vista Plus)
Sorry, currently we can not upload a file (does not work ???)
Greeting Ebs
Need to see Screenshot of your problem. You can always upload your screenshot to any picture hosting site and share the link here.
I also realized that your are running on Insider version of Windows 10, which is known almost always have compatibility issue with WB. If you really need a stable WB experience, you need stable version of Windows 10. For me, Windows 10 V1803 still the most stable so far.
I have purged, manually deleted all folders on the c:\ drive, manually deleted all registry entries, re-downloaded the .73 beta install file, and still it installs the older files, not the newer ones in the screen shot. Would love to know why, and would love to have the new files thinking that they would solve the issues I'm having. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Ok, might be my laptop, desktop(system I'm really care about) is running fine now.
The numbers from mine match yours 10.73 beta. Note: My Win 10 version is 1804, yours seems to be the insider fast ring. There will be issues with the insider builds which are basically betas themselves.
can someone give me a direct link to download windowblinds 10.73? because every time i download it from my stardock account or any other place i try. it always downloads the 10.65 version......
WB 10.73 is still currently under Beta stage. So it should be available under your Object Desktop's individual download link if you are active subscribers of Object Desktop.
hmm no i never purchased object dock, i just purchased windowblinds and cursorfx and iconpackager individually... so i dont get beta updates if i bought windowblinds individually?
From what I understand, betas given out only to those subscribe to Object Desktop (Not Object Dock). You should get your copy once it come out from beta stage.
But if you can't wait, and you already have Windowblinds. You entitle to upgrade to Full Object Desktop with a discount. Just follow this link and click the upgrade button. Refer to the screenshot. https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/
kool thanks
Oke got this for the last week Object Desktop Manager keeps coming up with 10.73 update time after time. Did purge and reinstalled but keeps the same !
Greetz Base
I don't have that problem since I disable OD notification for beta. I believe Object Desktop manager have issues. On mine OD still listed my WB still on 10.72. Instead of 10.73.
Aah oke np just after reboot I get notification for update from Object Desktop Manager no biggy
OK. Let's try this again. Here's the latest official release of Windows 10 v1809 17763.107. This is not an insider release (i.e. 18XXX.XXX) or some other beta in disguise. I used to work for MS and the saying was: "Beta Means Broken!" So this is no beta.
Hello, and thank you very much!
Version 10.74 beta runs very well with Win10 Insider- Build 18272.1000.
WindowBlind's display errors have been fixed and now also incorrect styles work.
The CPU is no longer running at full speed.
(Edit: + Build 18277.1000)
You must have worked for them prior to Windows 10, as now there is technically no such thing as a non-beta OS. Microsoft decided in their inimitable wisdom that Joe Public would be their Q and A department.... cheaper to spend the savings on litigation mitigation instead....
I worked for MS in the late '90s. I'm retired now.
Let's just say there are "official" betas, and "unofficial" betas. Official betas are like an announcement: "This may be broken, can you test it for me?". Unofficial betas may or may not be broken and are often not even called betas. When Windows 95 was released, I recollect 100s of embedded bugs that we renamed "features". There were many issues. Lot's of stories.
My impression of the insider builds is that they are ALL betas. But it can confusing because Windows 10 v1809 is now up to 17763.107 in about a month. So there has been .17, .55, .104, and now .107 cumulative updates. I would think that on an official release of Windows 10 that there wouldn't be so many updates. So it resembles a beta!

What is the difference between version 1809 and 1804 which is the one I have.
The answer to your question is five months. Windows 10 is a series of Windows builds separated by 5-6 months. Typically, each build has features that have been removed, replaced, added, etc. 1804 stands for April, 2018. 1809 stands for September, 2018. Refer to the following webpage for more details about the differences between Windows 10 builds:
