Many users are saying that purchasing a stardock software from steam is a cause of concern. They say that the 5 device limit is not detailed well and that's why I am asking you how it will work.
I contacted Steam support and they said it is a drm placed by stardock and they have very little knowledge about it therefore I should talk to stardock.
Please tell my how this drm exactly works. I want to know in detail about it.
I am thinking to buy start10 from steam because it is little cheaper over there. But your silence and other steam customer's bad opinion about the Drm placed by you on your steam apps are holding me back.
If I get a satisfactory reply about it then I'll definitely purchase your other software from steam.
Please look into this issue because other users are saying that stardock softwares purchases on steam are not worth becasue neither steam nor you help them when they have a problem.
And you are proving that they are damn right in judging you becasue it was my first of many purchases from stardock on steam and you both are not giving accurate details.
Expecting a better reply and you can check my previous message about further detail about the problem.
Hello,
I have forwarded your question to Stardock Support team for their assistance. Stardock is in a Holiday Weekend now until Tuesday. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

You still haven't provided the answer. That's not good. I had heard right that you won't reply to those who get your sogtware from steam.
Now it's on you to prove it wrong and I'll be super happy if it happens.
I'm not sure where you are "hearing" all this from. You have a 5 limit install regardless if you purchase on Steam or direct from us.
You can see more here: https://www.stardock.com/support/software-eula
You are allowed install on 5 concurrent PCs and restricted from activating a 6th until others are uninstalled - freeing up a seat.

What else about the 'drm' is unclear?
Can you provide links to any group claiming that?

It means that I can use it on 5 different Pcs on at the same time with the same steam account it was purchased from. But one thing is still unclear that how to deactivate it on a machine specially when I got it from steam. I know that stardock account has an option to do that but for steam purchase of fences, I don't thing there is such an option. Please tell me how to do it?
And for your question on stardock softwares sold on steam are not well received. You can check the reviews of start 10 and fences the two utilities on steam and you will surely got the answer. Many of them are reporting the issues and saying that it was their biggest mistake to purchasing stardock softwares on steam.
By the way thanks for the reply.
Again, what I posted prior would work until we update the activation model in the Steam products to match our own (if you try to activate on a 6th, it will ask you if you want to deactivate all others - it does not do that now but soon will).
If you could supply an exact link to ones you felt compelling, I would appreciate any an all, b2boss.
From this experience, what type of review will you be providing?
You are welcome

My overall experience is something very positive with Fences and from the Stardock support. So there is only nice things to say about you.
