My installed SCO Fleet Battle Beta disappeared from my Steam Library, I think because the beta has ended. But the files are still on my computer in steamapps common.
How do I uninstall the SCO Fleet Battles Beta to free up memory on my computer? I can't do the usual thing and right click uninstall it on Steam because it is no longer there. I don't want to just delete the files in steamapps common because that could leave leftovers in other places like the Windows registry.
So this is not a guarantee, but from working with other beta builds that have functioned similarly to how SD has run the Fleet battles beta,
once the release Fleet Battles goes live the install will grab the beta files update them, and use the ones it needs saving you download time.Most likely once the final game is installed the final step of the installer will be to clean up all the beta files still on your PC. Soooo... wait until Sept 20???
