In Windows 7 start menu and Classic Shell, I could drag move folders in the start bar. Use case: A program update re-creates it's shortcuts folder and I want to drag it into the appropriate category folder.
With Start10, I am able to drag a folder, but it shows the "not allowed" icon when I attempt to drop it into another folder. I have adjusted the folder permissions to have full control over the folders where the start menu is stored and am able to move folders around at-will in Windows Explorer. However, it is inconvenient and time consuming to have to open the start menu folders in Explorer in order to accomplish this every time. I would think Start10 should be able to do this if Classic Shell could. Is this missing functionality or the standard Start10 behavior?
