Galactic Civ III Intrigue V3.03, I built an elemental extractor-M and it is not generating any revenue. The 37 revenue from the extractor shows on the planet GDP detail but is not carried over to the Civilization GDP. On the planet GDP detail screen it looks like the extractor is not linked in under Gross Income.
It is not just that. Many of the Lost Treasures DLC improvements do not work properly, such as the Furnace-B, which has its improvement type listed as "Manufacturing" instead of "MaxManufacturing," which means it does not provide level bonuses to manufacturing improvements, and it does not receive adjacency bonuses either.
Yuck! Thanks for the info! Has anybody at StarDock said anything about when they will get it all fixed?
The elemental extractor uses a so called, <ColonyNetIncome> instead of the usual <ColonyGrossIncome> that pretty much every other normal Wealth improvement has. This seem to imply that the bonus is added directly to the final net value of your GDP instead.
Except that it isn't- the Net GDP for my 3 planet empire is listed as 30.6 with no other source of income. The +27 isn't included in my revenue stream at all, as it's not part of the gross weekly income.
Any word on a fix? I'm going to try just modding it to be Gross income instead- I'd rather pay taxes and get some of it...
Its not applied to Gross income as Nilfry said. It works fine for me, BUT I have fixed certain broken elements in the Lost Treasure DLC and I can not remember if this improvement was one I fixed.
This is a screen shot for the Pragmatic choice, the Malevolant choice should show something similar:
I browsed by here as I was contemplating plunking down $15 for Intrigue. When I played Crusade awhile ago, I distinctly remember the ethical choices were sometimes broken and sometimes crashed my game--even reproducibly. In fact I distinctly remember the Elemental-M issue.
This OP is dated back in June 2018. Yet I see no response from a Stardockian, or any indicator of a fix (or explaining why it's not broken) at all. This has swayed me not to buy Intrigue. I don't like to buy broken stuff, and instead of getting support I only get offers to sell me more broken stuff. I'm disappointed, but I'm out.
Yep, much as I enjoy the game I feel the same, no more money until they fix the broken stuff. Really bad sign that they can't reply.
