What would your thoughts be on a ship designer in the main menu, instead of forcing you to load a Quick Start if you want to make cool designs? The Main Menu editor could give you everything researched, but it'd be up to you to balance them with availability of early-game weapons and modules. I believe this could further improve the Steam Workshop submissions since it'd be easier for those with less powerful computers to design ships, plus the option is always nice.
What would you guys think? Would you use this?
I have been wanting that since the game came out. I hate that I have to make sure a game is far enough for all hull sizes to be able to make new ships.
