This mod is my second complete modification for the Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion game and I have choosen the Wing Commander universe because never a mod from this universe was finished before. It is not a proyect from few days ago, I have been thinking about it more of one year. It is not a proyect started without any chance, I have the skills, the time and the stuff for to complete it at a small amount of time.
As I promised, I have some screenshots for all you. All them are work in progress. I have not added by example the icons from several units because I prefer to make a lot at same time, it is easier. Weapons, music, sound and more graphic changes are developing but after less of a month of work, it looks good because I replaced all the units from one faction and I start adding the Kilrathi units.

This is the progress from today. Two Kilrathi fighters and one starship more. The Kamekha carrier, the Dralthi IV and the Ekapshi III. Clearly there are some additions to the Wing Commander Universe, it must be made if I want replace most of the things from the original SOASE.
Perhaps you are curious about this. It is the module constructor from the Kilrathi.
I have another new Kilrathy unit for show you. The Colony ship. Curiously, this unit can bomb planets launching biological warheads.

This is a early preview the mod. For more of one year. It will need a lot more of work, fun work but at the end, more time of develop. But if I could make it at less of a month, I am sure how I will finish all the mod.
Well, this is the progress from today.
Probably you saw this unit in the video, it is the envoy shuttle from the Terran Confederation. I found the model in the Prophecy Secret Ops files. But I am not sure if it was a shuttle or what. Do you know about the story from this model?
This is the new unit today. The Kilrathi Envoy. A easy modification from the Corvette. Because the Kilrathy are not a friendly race, this ship can bomb planets and it has more weapons.
Another work from today, it was improve the textures from most of the Kilrathy models which they share the same textures. The previous textures from these models made by MayorAPayne, probably they were made with the textures from the models in the Wing Commander 3D site http://wcmdf.solsector.net/kilrathi_capships_hi.htm , mostly from the Kilrathy Dreadnought made by Zohrath. Now I have used the same sources and I have added different graphics.
I have added other style of lights, it was added originally in the Corvette from Prophecy Secret Ops and clearly it looks more alien.
Other work from today but I have not screenshots by the moment, it is the weapons. I will try to add most of the type of weapons from this universe but it will be difficult to get the exact color or effect, at the end, even with all the games, there are not a lot of information. Perhaps I must play a bit the old games.......however by example, I have made a Kilrathi laser weapon watching the film. The cruiser from the end battle, it fires green shots. Slow green shots. I say slow because in the original SOASE, all the weapons are very fast. But in my mod, they will be slower. Well, weapons will take a fun but long research.
More news. The Clarkson-Class Transport will be the Starbase Builder. I added it time ago but probably I did not show you it. There will be many fighters, most of them designs from WC3, WC4 and Prophecy/Secret Ops. Thanks to the people which they converted the files before. And this is the unit from today, probably I will add another later but I have added the Bhantkara for replace the Vasari Fleet Carrier Frigate.
Another new addition is the Kilrathy Concom.

Time for another unit added, the Ralaxath Heavy Destroyer.
Continuing the addition from models, two units more. The Fralthi Cruiser and the Fralthi Carrier.
I have a question for all you. I need a Kilrathi name for some new ships. One of them is the Starbase Constructor from this image. Similar to the Ralarrad Destroyer but smaller. Other ship with a Kilrathi name would be the Colony Ship. Any suggestions?
More progress. The Zhufeng, Shivier and the Kilrathi Shuttle. The Shivier is the Snakier from the Wing Commander film renamed because there is other Snakier from the older games. Other curious thing is the scale, I use a similar scale to WC Invasion game from EAW which it is very similar to the original scale from SOASE. I find some lenght descriptions from the WC Encyclopedia very curious because they are very big.
About the turrets added in the Shivier. Their purpose is only cosmetic, the turrets in SOASE have not movement. There was some tries with it but nothing good. By this reason, I do not need very good designs and at the end, I can improve them in the future. But one point from all the mod is to get massive battles and these easy models are great for it.
The Kilrathi Shuttle is the replacement for the corvette. It has small weapons and it can capture enemy ships with boarding parties. With some additions in the texture effects, a poor model looks very good.
The Zhufeng is a fast attack capital ship similar to the Hades from the Confederation.
This is the last addition, the Shaalkhar. I have added it as a Capital Ship.
Another capital ship, the Snakier. One capital ship more and the Titan, without count the fighters/bombers for end the starships from the Kilrathi. But fighters can be made at very few time. One starship as this Snakier, it can take me 1 hour and 30 minutes without count the icons. Just the model, code and strings.
This is a example from the final scale. I have followed all the sources and when there was not information about one unit, I have used a good scale for the type of unit. If you want know, first I have made all the units with the same scale and after it, I have reduced them a 20%. Without this reduction, a ship as the Hvar'kann would be bigger than a planet and it would give thousands of problems. This new scale is equal to the scale from my Star Wars mod and by this reason, I know how it can be used without problems.
I want remember you how there are many things unfinished in the mod, weapons, particle effects, prices, balance, many things unfinished.
Here you can see how huge is the Hvar'kann size at comparation with other starships. By the moment, I have finished the Kilrathi starships but I go to take some of time improving other parts before I start the Nephilim units, even I was thinking if I should convert or create some starbases. It can be a option.
There are two options for the Titan. Or I add two Titans but you can not build more of one at same time, or one is a Capital Ship and the other a Titan. Now I am using the second option. The second Dreadnought is the MKII version from the Hvar'kann made by MayorAPayne. It is even a bit bigger than the MKI.
About the Nephilim models. Thanks to the Star Trek Armada Wing Commander mod from miklosgo, the stations from this race will not be a problem. But the starships.........probably I must make some variants and to use some big fighters as small frigates or corvettes. But I do not see a problem with it.
Well, probably I will not add new models the next two or three days. The last work is normalize everything with the change of scale. By example the engines. With the SOASE limit with the amount of engine lights added at each ship, ships as the Waterloo have not lights in all their engines.

I have added three fighters more, the F-106 Piranha, F-108 Panther, F-109 Vampire. Probably I will not add more Confederation fighters. Of course, I will add units from Black Lance and from the Union of Border Worlds. Perhaps even some from Privateer 2. Who knows...
I have added the last three fighters from the Kilrathi, the last at least by the moment. If I find other models from other designs, I can add them.

This is the first Nephilim unit. I have added the Stingray as the scout.
Two more units from Nephilim, the Skate Cluster and the Skate Fighter. The first spawn as a very small carrier to the second.
Two new Nephilim units, the Ray Node Cluster ship and the Remora spawned by it.
Well, with piece from the Hydra. I have made another design. It would be some as a destroyer and I have named it Stinger. If you have other ideas for the name and description. Please tell me. It is the replacement from the Psi Siege Frigate. Siege frigates are specialized at Bombardement. But the units from the mod have more weapons. Being as a Destroyer, it has anti-ship and anti-fighter weapon but it can not deploy squadrons.
This is the final version from the Nephilim colonizer frigate. Much better than the previous.
