I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss Jim. Our pets will always hold a special place in our hearts, even after they are gone. They do so much to make our lives a richer experience.
Can't go to the loo without dog supervision......
*Raises hand*
Sad Five dude.
But seriously, when you're ready, get another Dog! They will only be too happy to fill that void left from your other friend.
Sorry for your loss Jim.
I'm sorry to hear about your loss, Jim. Dogs can be good friends.
[e digicons]:'([/e] Sorry for your loss. Pets are friends and family.
SORRY TO HEAR OF UR LOSS DUDE ....
Very sorry Jim. Think you know how this affects me. Losing something that was living and loved is very had no matter what.
Sorry to hear that Redneck. It's the pits when good pets have to move on. Looks like he was a good ol' fart, here's to him
So sorry to hear this brother. No friend like a dog.
Jim, I grieve for your loss. Be well...
Hey, Red...he'll be waiting at the other end of the Rainbow Bridge...and won't even mention that you took a long time to arrive. They're like that. Grateful.
We should learn from them.
There's nothing like that cold, wet nose in your face...or a warm floppy ear in your hand when you scratch them...or that stupid thumping they do with their hind leg when you find that sweet spot and scratch them real good. That's why I can't go out in public with Doc anymore.
Sorry for your loss, Jim. I truly am. I don't want to presume, but maybe that big heart of yours has room for another lil buddy who needs the love you have to give? Maybe down the road a bit.
So sorry for your loss Jim. A year ago I lost one of my two cats. He was the older one named Buddy. Mr. Fidge was somewhat lethargic for awhile. In time there'll be another Buddy to futz around with.
Maybe. For now, we still have one with a heart murmur and arrhythmia. Losing her companion may kill her. I hope not.
To all of you, a big thanks for support. I knew you guys would help me through this.
The hardest part was carrying him out to the car, for his last ride to the vet.
He died in our bed, we woke just in time to see him draw his last breath.
Sorry I'm late. Been under the weather lately. My heartfelt best thoughts go out to you. Sorry for your loss.
Should have told me...I'd have let your ears and leg alone, Rex. And your nose isn't all that cold...wet, yes.
So sorry for your loss, Red! I used to have dogs, so I know exactly how that feels like.
I guess maybe it's a redneck thang, but this dog slept in the same bed as I. Not having him there will take some adjustment. Gonna be a long night.
Real sorry for your loss, Jim.
Have lost many over my lifetime...dogs...cats...birds etc... it's always such a devastatingly sad time... they leave pawprints on our hearts and we are never the same...
You should at least be comforted by the fact he died in his own surroundings rather than having the scary journey to the vet to be put to sleep...that... is even more gut wrenching if it is possible... I'm so glad your bed was his last resting place with the comfort of you near.
If your other dog is not well...might be a bit of an ask to bring a younger dog into the home...but hopefully, there's an older dog sitting in a shelter who might find a loving home with you at some stage, when you're ready...
heartfelt commiserations...
I know what you are feeling Jim, when I lost my little Chihuahua a few months ago, it was a tough time, and I still miss him.
Sorry to hear that Tom...
