I have just purchased WB10 and all works well except that the Taskbar won't skin at all. I also have Start 10 installed. Previously, way back to the Technical Preview of Windows 10, and before the notices went up in this forum about WB not being compatible, I installed WB8, and used the compatibility mode, as someone here suggested. It has worked fine in this way, other than that the Taskbar wouldn't skin - which I put up with. Before installing the newly purchased WB10 a couple of days ago I uninstalled WB8, rebooted, cleaned up the files that were still on the system, and did a thorough registry clean to try and eliminate all signs of the previous version. But, as I say, the Taskbar still remains unskinned. Is anyone else having this problem - and has anyone got suggestions as to how to proceed?
No-one replied to this - I suppose because no-one else was having the same problem. I had great, speedy help from Stardock Support, but nothing seemed to work until I reset Windows 10, and then installed all the W10 upgrades AND used the WindowBlinds latest beta. Suddenly, the taskbar was skinned again, and all has been well with every skin since. Still don't understand why I had this trouble, but the moral seems to be to update both W10 and WB10 to the very latest versions of both. Very happy indeed with WB10 now.
Glad you got it fixed!
