WB v10.0.1 update:
You could purchase Object Desktop. It is addictive and well worth the price.
*shivering in my seat waiting for the next 'fix'*
Sorry...couldn't resist.
Tried to search JUST this forum but couldn't figure out how to do it.
So, forgive me if this is already answered. The latest version will not skin MS Edge.
Will it be skinned in the future? Also any other programs that WB currently "misses" on Win 10??
Thank god, you guys are continuing to support this product. It's an absolute ESSENTIAL piece of software since MS went to the "flat" look. Talk about returning to DOS!!!
I wonder if MS had the good sense to retain the old "non-client drawing area" libraries, for when they finally need to go back to the pre-8 look??
Boofus
MS Edge and other Universal apps do not use traditional titlebars. They do have glyphs for the titlebar buttons and these are skinnable by WindowBlinds but obviously this is not the same as full titlebar skinning. Support for changing the glyphs will be added into the next SkinStudio update.
2 issues I am having with this current Beta:
1 - the task bar icon does not show. I have it checked, but it doesn't maintain that setting and never shows up. Tried rebooting.
2 - Maybe I misunderstand how this works --- I thought that the taskbar color would change according to the desktop BACKGROUND. However, I find that it is changing to the color of the open WINDOW, which in many cases causes it to turn white, thereby making many of the system icons virtually invisible.
The taskbar colour matches the skin in that it is skinned so will appear as the skin author intended. It does not change colour based on the background in use.
Some skins have white taskbars, some have other colours. I would say white is a little unusual for a skin though.
The icon not showing is a known issue.
Windowblinds 10 renders the taskbar "pressed" Will the "Fixed" taskbar height be sorted out ?
-Painting margins and taskbar buttons & taskbar sizes gets all missaligned height-wise.

Pressed?
There is no pressed state for taskbars. The bar itself cannot be pressed.
Regarding the height, possibly not. Windows 10 does not have a fully theme aware taskbar unlike Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. We will see if there are any tweaks to be made. Which skin is the issue most obvious in?
Skins: Destiny & Heart of choice
It's NOT looking like this in Win 7 or 8... must be something Win 10 related. -if there's no fix for this alot of skins will look bad on 10
Neil, I believe Andy means compressed. As in squeezed.
Oh happy day! So glad to read this is finally in beta. Windows 10 w/o WindowBlinds is WindowsBland. Hope it comes out soon.
hi i had a an issue like that with the start button not full between start 10 and windowblinds . the one way i cured it was to use large taskbar buttons and while i dont prefer the larger size buttons generally . it balanced out and looks ok just the same .
Also, there's something strange going on with the taskbar popup items:
Great job Stardock ! The one & only issue I have is unable to get the taskbar icon to appear, shows ticked in the UI but never has shown itself. But brilliant for a beta - Thank you
Looks like the taskbar is being shown again behind the previews?
I cannot get WB 10 to install at all. Tried through ODM and stand alone file from the SD store......

I get a message to reboot and do so. Then....nothing.....no WB installed
Avast AV
I haven't had WB installed since the upgrade to Windows 10. I made sure I uninstalled before starting the upgrade.
