I couldn't find the old sticky so I created a new post on things that still need to be updated in beta 7 or beta 8 so they don't get lost in the shuffle. I reported them awhile ago but they're still outstanding issues. Just wanted to make devs aware since the old thread went away and they hadn't been addressed yet.

Thanks. 50% of the time I forget to use this and normally rely on the popups.
Also still missing is the fact that you appear in a random order in the company listings when you found. You always used to be at the top. It was throwing me off big time the game I played with zultar today especially when masquerade is on. I kept forgetting which name and color I was since I was robotic and the coloring isn't finished on the robotic HQ yet.
Kingmorgan mentioned this in a stream awhile ago but it looks to still be an issue. The host of the game always appears listed first so it defeats the point of masquerade and you already know the identity of one of the players. Please fix!

AB comes up in one of those beloved random auctions. I win the auction, but in doing so.. my debt goes from C to D range. Now the lovely UI decides I should not be able to see the AB I just bought becuase I'm in D levels of debt? Or is it by design that I am forced to just let my opponents win all auctions any time I am at a C/D debt borderline? Sigh...
GalacticWho - I've won an auction before under a similar circumstance and I think that's exactly what happened. I let Soren know about it.

While we're mentioning things here I would like to point out a minor annoyance with the BM. When you buy something from the black market the item changes color to show you that you own one. After you've used the item it still stays colored in instead of being grayed out again (it just turns yellowish for awhile). I get confused as to whether I still have an item in reserve or not because it's still highlighted. It ends up that I buy a bunch of BM items I thought I already had. The reason there's confusion is because when you deflect an attack with a goon squad it turns the same color yellow when it credits you the BM item. Let me know if you need clarification on that. I realize how bad of a job I'm doing explaining it.
tl;dr- BM item stays colored after you use the item and makes you think you still have one of the same item in reserve.

Interesting possible glitch right now in beta 7. I claimed a blank geothermal tile near someone else's base and then decided to EMP a steel mill adjacent to my (empty) claimed geo tile. For some reason it "froze" the blank geothermal tile as well. Worth noting that I was going to build a geo on the spot and so it was flying through the air at the time but was quite a ways off from getting there. When it landed the construction was frozen.
This didn't used to happen in previous betas so I'm unsure if this is purposeful or not. I hit their tiles with an EMP before I started construction so I wouldn't get taken out as well. Weird that a blank tile can be "frozen."
This is actually intentional - 99% of the time what this means is that you don't have to micro whether all of your opponents tiles are filled or not or if s/he is in the middle of a transition.
Seems like an actual bug that may be related: defended tiles are no longer immune to black market effects (in this case an EMP). Targeted the EMP on orange's pleasure dome and ended up freezing my own too.

Something similar also occurred later that game, with an AI using a slowdown strike on a defended tile and getting through, which you weren't able to do before. That seems like it should stay, though.

And one more question: is it intentional that claims are now instant or is it a display thing/unintentional? Even for things far away from my base, the moment I start sending the building out, the tile appears as claimed.
While I'm pointing assorted things out, there's an AI chat message that incorrectly uses "Winner's[...]" instead of "Winners[...]"
Thanks, we'll get these fixed. The instant claim thing is intentional. We're going to try it out in Beta 8 and see how it goes as losing a claim attempt has never really been a great experience. (In balance, tiles closer to your found will be protected longer.)
Instant claiming is not the problem, the inability to cancel the claim is. Not only due to misclicks. Sometimes the situation changes so rapidly, you must change your decisions within seconds and less.
