Turns out that during all those Apollo missions astronauts were clicking away like crazy…and a good thing too. After all, how else could we accuse NASA of Photoshopping everything?
So, NASA’s uploaded the treasure trove…8,400 pics from Apollo 7-Apollo 17.
You can see them here (organized by mission): https://www.flickr.com/photos/projectapolloarchive/albums/with/72157659052908231

Digg and PetaPixel have collections of their faves.
Anyway…have fun looking at very cool stuff…not just the boot print or the blue marble.
Absolutely breath-taking! It's a lost age of heroic achievement.

Fascinating insights into the Space Race and the Cold War.
Eh, call on me when they release the Top Secret pictures of the ancient alien race that left their stuff scattered all around the place.
-No seriously, cool find Doc
Thanks for sharing Doc!!!
The conspiracy theorists will say it took NASA 40 years to doctor all the photos.
Nah, they won't do that.... not when a lot of them show former US presidents talking with alien leaders.
I love conspiracy theories as much as the next bloke - especially that one about the CIA consorting with aliens to resurrect Moses and some Egyptian mummies - but I do believe the moon landings actually happened.
I'll be checking them out. Thanks Doc.
And some people still (mistakenly) believe all the moon missions were done in a secret facility 'out west' somewhere. LOL Awesome photos! Thx Seth!
