I have paid for this program; and am using the full windows 10 Pro; but every thing that I try to do keeps coming back saying that the setup is unable to aquire or access the activation server. I have tried redownloading the app using edge, I have tried setting up a trial, I have tried doing an activation via my account, and have tried everything else I can think of. I still get the message that the setup cannot access the activation server. I also have observed that there is a command window which comes up sayig that stardock 10 software has been removed.. please advise.. Thank You, Condor

However, since UpGrading to the full version of Windows 10, when I try to install "Start10" I keep getting this error: Please reboot to complete the Start10 Uninstall before proceeding with the new installation. The install will now exit." It has done this at every attempt to install it!! I have uninstalled Start8 and still receive this message! Please help!!

Sorry that I didn't reply sooner. Yes, rebooting the computer did not make any difference. Still having problems getting start10 to activate. (Internet Explorer 11 not working either- I've told Microsoft..) -Condor :-}
What is the issue with IE11?
I am wondering if the problem is some sort of bad proxy server setting somewhere if IE is also unhappy.
I am having the same problem. I have a brand new computer, in fact I have two Windows 10 machines.
I purchased start10 last night and on either machine it has error message "Please Reboot to complete the Start10 uninstall before proceeding with the new installation"
Start10 has never been on either computer. Rebooting does not resolve it, and one of the computers is fresh out of the box and has all windwos updates.
I would like my money back if this can not be fixed shortly.
Did you have any previous version, Start8 for example, installed?

I have this same issue. I purchased the entire suite... I installed tiles and fences 3 beta, but when I went to install start 10, I get the "finish uninstalling" error. I uninstalled all stardock products and then went through the registry to clean out all stzrdock entries. I ran windows update and then rebooted several times. I still get the error.
