Here a list of bugs I found in version 1.0. Haven't checked if they are still in 1.01. The game is way to buggy for my taste and some of this stuff is in there since FE. This is way to annoying.
When I start a game with 6 rivals (not set to random), go back to the main menu and directly start a new game, without changing the rival setup, the rival settings seem to be ignored sometimes. I often get a wrong number of rivals and different ones too. Looks to me as if the settings was reset to random for the rivals.
The Snipers Snipe ability does not reduce the enemies initiative.
When a game is lodad vision bonuses on units are not applied. You can only see the standard distance around the unit. Only when the unit moves the additional tiles become visible.
It is not possible to cast Lower Land on hills, but I can cast Raise Land on the hill and then Lower Land to make it flat.
Allies accidently walk on Shards and destroy them
Sometimes, when attacking a monster, my stack moves onto the tile of the attacked monster, even when there are still more enemy stacks on the tile.
I had a unit move to its destination, not from tile to tile, but in strait direction across any obstacle like mountains. The distance moves was bigger than the units movement points would allow.
There was an event where abandoned villages with bandits spawned. One of those villages was placed on a mountain top.
When I asked my allies for troops they were stationed in my capital, despite the fact, that all unit slots there where already filled. At first I had no idea where the units went, but when I removed units from my capital the ally units became visible.
There is a "-" displayed next to the unit names in the Enchanting screen, but clicking on it, does not collapse the entry.
Slough the Boglord is able to equip enchanted bows, but not normal bows. This is possible for other heroes too. It seems some weapons can be equipped when they are enchanted.
Normal roads can pass through forest, but I can't cast place road on forest terrain.
In the enchantment window: When the resources list on the right is scrolled as bit down, but not completely to the bottom and the selected equipment on the left changes, the resources scroll bar moves a bit down, but the list does not. This can prevent you from reaching the end of the list.
The score board for Priestess in the meta real seems to be broken.
The item Life Stone shows as tooltip text "MeleeDefenseAppliesSpell"
When a game is reloaded in a turn where a city finishes producing a unit , the unit is lost.
The Help Menu does not show the crafting ingredients for items. The section is always empty.
The Spider Egg can be used in combat, but when I used it no spider is spawned. It works on the strategic map.
When a unit is selected and I right click on a rival city to initiate diplomacy, my selected unit sometimes moves in direction of the city.
It happened several times that a rival faction was placed in a way that would not allow them to leave their starting region, because all ways out were blocked by mountains.
Quest "Have a little patience". The quest does not properly show you the location of the ancient battlefield. Instead the view is moved to a completely random location on the map.
The description of the spell Tireless March says that it can only be cast on one unit at a time. If cast it on two different heros and both got additional movement.
Enchanted compass has no Icon.
In the diplomacy screen: The upper part of the talk to button leads to the declare war screen.
The Tinkerer spellbock enchantements, that cast a spell on death subtract mana for the spells cast and can lead to negative mana.
I believe it was tattyhat who said " the bugs were legion ". I'm starting to agree with him/her. I've reported a bunch of stuff not on this list and so has a bunch of others. Werewolf what do you think? Can you see all the bugs through your fanboy eyes? Just kidding bro. The other issue I have is several issues claimed to be fixed in 101 are not fixed in 101. Secondly, there are bugs that I have reported that do not have a workaround that should be given priority over bugs that do have a workaround. Who's doing your bug prioritazation over there? Cmon Stardock!
I agree. Lots of bugs. I have to admit I kind of got tired of reporting during the years ...
I just started a new game to see how the full release works, and after my bear mauled like twenty times in a row I gave up.... Mauling mistake third year I think and still counting. Saving/loading issue with the movements/position of armies not being saved properly still persisting as well (at least two years) ...
The bad thing here is that these are not all the bugs I encountered. There were more, but I didn't always feel like getting out of the game to write them down. None of the other games I play have so many problems and after past experience I'm not going to buy any other Stardock game.
