I've been looking at the tech tree but still have trouble figuring our what unique bonuses and buildings each tech tree provide. This makes it harder to choose a tech tree for a custom faction and I would like to know what the average end game stacked bonuses come with each tech tree. There isn't a real in-depth explanation of what a tech tree's con and pro's are over another tech tree in comparison. I've recently checked the official wiki: http://galciv3.gamepedia.com/Technology
However have only learned about a single branch of the Thalan Tech Tree branch there. I would liek to know more about the Drengin and other tech tree branches on what they offer compared to to other Civ's tech trees.
Biggest difference for Drengin is their factories have a military adjacency bonus in addition to the manufacturing ones. The line that leads to Planetary Invasion is also a bit different, with an awesome colony unique building that gives Military Manufacturing (this is a separate multiplier from regular manufacturing, that acts only on the % the planet sends to military as opposed to social). They've also got some different names for techs that are more brutal sounding but looked about the same to me.
But yes, lack of a Civilopedia equivalent in-game really hurts, gotten so used to it in Civ5, Civ:BE, and AoW3.
