What IS Gauntlet's Race Mod?Gauntlet's Race Mod is the premier custom race mod for Galactic Civilizations 3 and also provides an array of additional content to improve your game experience. I do not have the new DLC so it is unknown to me how that impacts anything... it's fairly unlikely it conflicts with anything in the mod.

Thanks Gauntlet. Not sure I'll return to GC3 though, unless you and Horemvore starts modding again and give your green light the new patch fixed everything that was not in the previous patches.
Not certain what you want fixed, but GRM really doesn't fix anything... though I suppose the anomalies and colonization events are "fixed" since I replaced them all lol. Horemvore does much more attentive/better work on that kind of thing. I'm mostly an aesthetics guy.But regardless, I'm not coming back to GC3 with this recent update or DLC... it's pretty paltry offerings to me.Hopefully they are working on GC4 instead of investing too much on GC3.
In the meantime though, I do intend to try and keep GRM up to date and working as best I can.
The Mercs aren't working for me The display have spots for them, but no images nor ways to buy them, etc. AFAIK, everything else looks OK.
This tends to happen when you do not install the appropriate files to the game's directory and did not choose to replace the three zip-files. For some reason GC decided to put merc ship files inside zips... in order to replace them, you have to replace the zip files.
Sometimes it gets wonky, because you might be trying to extract the replacement zip files from the GRM mod download (which is also a zip file) try extracting the GRM download to a miscellaneous folder first, THEN carry over the appropriate files.

I've had this problem several times. Usually what happens is the "for your game directory" files didn't get copied over properly (or an update over wrote the moded files). Make sure the two zipped files are replaced by the zip files from GRM. That usually works for me.
Installed this mod a few weeks ago, it does provide better gameplay. However, my computer crashes when researching the Militarist trait. Searching the forum, this problem was resolved. However, my game still crashes.
Any guidance on how to remedy this? Thanks.
I think I’m going to download this mod again. Hopefully it works. There was a more d to extend the civilizations of gauntlets race mod. Can anyone link it for me. I might want to try and change the game a little.

A new version of GRM has been uploaded to hopefully update it to 4.21 and fix any crashes related to the Interstellar Fortifications technology (militarist trait tech) that has been reported.There's nothing new, but I've been playing a game for 200ish turns without a crash so I think everything is working.Gauntlet's Race Mod at Galactic Civilizations III Nexus - Mods and community
