Forgive me if this feature exists, but I haven't noticed it yet.
I think if you tooltip/click on an alien ship/fleet it should tell you somewhere your diplomatic status with that civ. It could just say "at war" or "at peace" or the background could be red for war, white/yellow for neutral and green for allied.
This would be very useful to know when you have dozens of civs in your game and you don't want to keep checking back to the Diplomacy screen to remind yourself who you are at war with etc. every time you see an AI ship/asset.
I believe colonies currrently indicate their diplomatic status but not ships.
Again, apologies if this feature is already in there.
Thanks for listening
+1 Great idea!
I like!
Thanks, sounds promising
+1 very, very good idea.
Excellent and simple idea that will, as you say, make life easier when there's several different civs involved and you've got your battlecruiser fleet eyeing up some freighter fleet, but you're not sure if you should open fire, juicey as it may be. So, just click on the fleet and judge the situation - in part, at least - by the border colour.
This should be an option. Calling for things to be an option seems to be a thing, so in tribute of this, I'm going to say this every post from now on. Just sad I can't change my User Name to "This Should Be An Option". Er, is that an option to change your user name? Um...YUSSAHH!! It is!!
Or "Je Suis Someone Who Would Like This To Be An Option"...
+1
