Create the race of your dreams and enter the Galactic Civilizations III Faction Design Contest for a chance to win $1,000 and get your faction included in the game as a minor race!
All you have to do is make your race, either using the in-game tool or going deeper and creating it as a mod, then write a description and upload the file to our handy submission form.
The eight coolest, most unique races our community can dream up will be chosen by the Galactic Civilizations III team to be featured as finalists, and the community will vote on the ultimate winner.

I also was unable to submit my entry. Is there any chance of an extension? Assuming none of them went through today?
Could not submit before the deadline either, after trying for two hours to upload the zip.
Just checking back in this morning after many failed attempts last night to upload the zip well before the deadline. As others have asked, will there be any window for entry for those that could not last night due to the submission page being down? I know it would be pretty tough on you guys since you only have until tomorrow to choose the eight finalists, but worth asking...
