I wasn't a good, but cheap gaming computer can you tell me what I need, and how to do this. I would even accept cheap or free parts if you can spare them. They just have to be less than two years old. Any advice on good cheap stuff for a PC gaming rig.

Since it's a gaming PC, you'll want to spend a lot of time thinking about which GPU you want. I recommend looking at http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107.html they do a monthly "best for the money" overview of GPUs.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIF43-0mDk4 a good tutorial on putting it together. Keep in mind if you have a different motherboard, your motherboard should come with a very detailed user's guide containing specifics about the installation.
