I really haven't checked on all the releases that are scheduled for 2015, but there's a few that I can definitely say I'm exciting about.
Of course I'm excited for Sorcerer King and Galactic Civilizations coming this year, but we should talk about other games too. Right?
Some other ones I'm looking forward to:
So what are the games of 2015 that you are waiting for?
Fallout 4 (Boston, the Institute)
Fallout 4 (hopefully), the new Zelda, No Man's Sky, Uncharted 4.

* I already have access to these games, but I'm still looking forward to see how they progress, even if a few of these do not hit 1.0 this year.
Just Galciv3 and Pillars f Eternity.
Holy shit, Fallout 4 is coming out? How did I miss that?
Darkest Dungeon
That which Sleeps
Galciv 3
Don't Starve Together
Evolve
Nosgoth
Stonehearth
Mordheim: City of the Damned
Massive Chalice
HoI 4
Sorcerer King
At the Gates
And a war game with the depth of War in the West, but easier to learn and with better graphics... just dreaming, will probably never happen
I dont really look forward to any game, i mean i dont feel the kind of excitement like i used to feel in past. In all honesty, i miss it.
That said, i may give a try to bunch of games, mostly to satisfy the curiosity, or for nostalgic reasons, or simply in hope the game can somehow catch me and surprise me, even though i would not be expecting it. So:
Grey Goo
Act of Aggression
Homeworld HD, Armikrog, Grim Fandango (all these for said nostalgic reasons)
Really looking forward to
Worlds of Magic
I'll most likely get'em and play'em
Sorceror King
Carmageddon: Reincarnation
They exist and I'll try a demo
Mordheim: City of the damned
Hate to burst bubbles, bit my sister's ex-boyfriend used to work at Bethesda and they had only JUST started working on art assets when he left a few months ago. Not expected in 2015.
In order of preference?
Galactic Civilizations 3
No Man's Sky
Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
Star Wars Battlefront is definitely a favorite among my friends, along with the other games on the list! Apparently these are the games a bunch of skinny kids in their early 20s play.
Fallout 4 is 'rumored' to becoming out the last quarter of 1015, or first quarter of 1016. So, 'hopefully' you haven't missed it yet.
He probably did, he's about a thousand years late...
Off World Trading Company
HOMM3 HD for iPad
HOMM7, unless ubi screws this one up
Star Control
I've honestly lost interest in GalCiv3 and Sorc King. I don't think it's that their bad titles I honestly might have played way too many 4x games in 2014. I also have a LOT less free time then I've had in the past. I figure I'll put them down and see how I feel closer to release date. I'd like to see more trading and economic games
I look forward to GTA V for PC and Witcher 3, but if they slam that DeNuvo nonsense on GTA V, then it's a deal breaker for me. There are other, interesting games without obnoxious CPU-intensive baggage attached.
Gal Civ 3
Pillars of Eternity
Shadowrun: Hong Kong
Witcher 3
Endless Legend expansion
Age of Wonders 3 expansion
Stars in Shadow
Is evolution like a strategy version of spore, because if you put a game in spore it would be good. Hint make it a RTS.
Just Stardock Games at this point (or games that Stardock is tied to).
Looking forward to getting a copy of Alien Isolation that HASN'T had its serial already activated by being 'pirated' [written down] at the shop....
You buy games in STORES!? That is SO 1990
When you are in Australia and pay through the nose for bandwidth....yes, you buy them in stores.
I'm not paying $30 or $40 to download a game.....AND buy the fucker in the first place....
Easier to go into one of those so 1990 stores.....
$30 for a little bandwidth??
Here in Sweden in nearly all cities, bandwidth is free. You pay per month and download/upload as much as you want. In the major cities we got fiber (25/10, 100/10 and even 1000/not sure). Hell, even 16 years ago (when I was 16 ) ADSL was unlimited. Paying for bandwidth was in the old 56K era.
Why haven't Australia gotten fiber yet? Only other 1st world country that's so behind would be US and I bet they don't pay so much for a little bandwidth.
I pay about $90 AUD for 25gig per month.
The reason we need to pay is infrastructure. Australia is a 'little' bit bigger than Sweden....not much smaller than the USA...but its population is less than 10% of the US...so the cost of connection is shared over fewer people....
You do the math...but the cost to me of all those addons into FSX, [though free aircraft] adds up to quite a bit...when you have 200gig+ of them to download...
Top it off and we have a moron-led Liberal Govt who watered down the fibre upgrade plans of the previous.
Holy shit, I pay like 20 USD and I easily break 25gb per day.
But surely it is cheaper in your australian cities?
Um....I AM in an Australian city .... the second biggest...and can WALK to the CBD [city center] in about 30 minutes...
Not talking about the Outback...where you can be 500 miles from the nearest traffic light...
