Work wonderfull With win 10 tp 9879. danks for best tool.
Doesn't work well for me on build 10240. Constant freezes and hangs. Irritating. Waiting for an update... so infrequent for this app.
It will not even install for me on Win 10 Pro.
I get six or so error windows about invalid entry point on system DLL files.
Locate the installer...right-click 'run as administrator' and it'll install OK. I just struck the same issue of a hung [not responding] normal install....
Never once posted on these forums but since upgrading to Windows 10, been having a lot of issues. A clean install of Windows 10 seems to resolve quite a few of them. However, I am still getting a lot of hanging and reduced performance from OD. Have reinstalled video drivers but doesn't seem to make a difference.
No doubt this needs an update to quash any compatibility bugs and to optimise performance in Windows 10. Too many people are experiencing issues for it to be isolated configuration specific problems.
I received an email from Stardock yesterday claiming that ObjectDock was "now Windows 10 compatible".
Having just uninstalled it because v2.20 was not working properly in Windows 10 Pro (build 10240) - basically none of the icon buttons worked except for the dock apps themselves (weather, clock, Start, etc) - I decided to download this 'new' version only to find out that it is still the same ancient v2.20 build I uninstalled. The same build dare I say it which crashes Assassin's Creed: Rogue on Uplay whenever I try to play it (a bug I and someone else reported but was never fixed)!
So why did I receive this misleading email in the first place?
ObjectDock is NOT compatible with Windows 10 at all in my experience. It runs OK and does not crash, sure, but it is not functioning as intended if none of the program shortcuts actually do anything!
works fine on windows10pro on this machine.
I have build 10525 of Windows 10 and OD works fine. I also have Dreamscape installed and it works fina as well.
We have testing OD and found it compatible with Windows 10. If you are experiencing issues not reported, please contact support:

Nope been there, tried that.
The announcement thread has images of all of the errors I get.
It made such a mess of the installation that I could not uninstall it cleanly, so I had to revert to a recovery point before I installed ObjectDock to get rid of it.
Start10 on the other hand works great.
This is on a clean install of Windows 10 Pro.
It may be comparable, but the 2.2 installer seems to be problematic on a NEW installation.
Those who are upgrading may not see the issues I am getting.
So as suggested, I took out a ticket on Thursday. Now nearly Tuesday and still haven't received anything back from support regarding my issue raised in this very thread.
Is this company (& its products) on the decline or something?
Stardock's Support team is available business hours, US time - Mondays to Fridays. With a new OS release there is always an increase for Support assistance so individual response times will be longer. Windows 10 is particularly un-cooked and 'RTM' was premature at best, considering the number of quite different issues encountered by people to EVERY/ANY third party program install.
Results look like they are completely different depending on how you get to Win 10.
Please allow a little time for responses.
Hi,
I had the same issue (lags and so on) and since I noticed several of my utilities related to window management had issues with Win 10, I tried checking in the troubleshooting menu of settings, the "Temporarily disable all special window-event hooking." option.
After a reboot (just in case) ObjectDock had no more lags on my PC. I did not notice any change in the behavior of OD or loss of functiunality.
Obviously I am not using 100% of OD features, but most of the major ones.

The lags do happen, and I've already been through support. The only way I got a definite improvement was a clean reinstall of windows 10. This gave a massive improvement from the problems I'd been having.
With that said, Objectdock DOES have issues with Windows 10. Lag does remain intermittently, also, if using Windows Explorer to preview your open folders, among the thumbnails generated of these, you'll get a blank thumbnail. Think this may have to do with some Windows apps but its there nonetheless. This is reproducible on every machine I've tried OD on running Windows 10.
The guys need to do a little more QA testing. They have have admitted there is an issue for some users but to date I still haven't seen any updates. Objectdock itself hasn't been updated with any new features in a long time and I think its understandable that some may wonder if things are on the slide at Stardock.
32-bit You mean ? As it is clearly not compatible with 64-bit systems since 7 already.
Works ok but two issues. The major one is it's extremely slkow to respond. The minor one is I can't use Ctrl-click on the Start Menu icon to invoke the default W10 start menu when I want it. I guess OD does not get keypressss passed to the icons.
Try and rename both dock64 file extensions in Objectdock folder to dock64backup eg so they can't be used. Check if there's any improvement. You're right in that there is an issue with 64 builds for some people.
There most definitely are issues with 64 builds. A new version hasn't been released in... how long? I get all sorts of glitches and hangs on two different Windows 10 installs. There is always a freeze immediately after opening program/window. It freezes and I can't use it again until something (dll?) releases control of the dock. This is a continual problem. Dual booting with Windows 7 on one system -- works fine on that OS, but not Windows 10 x64. Sometimes labels leave "shadows" of text after an icon minimizes. This can only be resolved by restarting OD. The tabbed bar freezes often, too. Annoying, and it really seems as if support is ignoring users having issues because of (obviously) poor testing.
ObjectDock on Windows 10 is no longer supported.
I purchased ObjectDock and if its no longer supported on W10 what's the sense of having it. Not nice!
ObjectDock for the most part works fine on Windows 10. There are some issues so we aren't labeling it as supported on Windows 10.
What ID says is the truth. Unfortunately you may experience blank spaces for any Windows Store app you use and/or random blank space for things Windows has opened but isn't showing. Otherwise the app works great.
Yes the app does work great, never said otherwise. Its just these blank spaces where OD is picking up apps like settings and photoviewer as if they were open but really aren't. Its not a big deal or even annoying. I'm just curious as to how it happens. I'm not about to give up on it, that's for sure, or any other SD app. I like them too much.
There are issues with speed and random freezes for a small but significant number of users on 64 bit Windows 10. This has been admitted by Stardock support.
I was told to rename both dock64 files in the Object Dock folder to get around this issue while a solution was worked on. It does indeed speed things up but at the expense of seeing thumbnail previews. With regard to the blank spaces in thumbnail previews, I've just learnt to have to live with this issue.
It's extremely disappointing that support has been discontinued but then again, the product hadn't been updated in a long time (even when Windows 10 beta was released) so that was a warning sign. Shame because was a great dock. By and large works well, but not without a few glitches.
Doesn't install & run for me on Windows 10 1511 x64 Pro nor on x64 Enterprise.
I've tried it on six different machines, all running x64, all with local admin privilages.
Three of the machines had clean installs ( with all updates just applied ).
Three of the machines had just been upgraded to 1511
