Flagship is a unique RTS currently being backed on Kickstarter. Taking inspiration from other great RTS games, Flagship looks to be a great addition to the RTS genre. I look forward to this game and thought I would share the news! Needless to say this is NOT my work, but belongs to Brad Jeffery and Matt J.
Exactly what is Flagship all about? "Inspired by great RTS titles such as Homeworld, Sins of a Solar Empire and Total Annihilation, and incorporating the capital ship combat of sci-fi classics such as Star Trek, Babylon 5 and Battlestar Galactica, Flagship will allow you to command a fleet from the bridge of your own starship. Explore the stars, expand your territory and save humanity from being wiped out in a hostile galaxy."

I've been following the development for a while now, it looks amazing!
As you can probably tell I am extremely excited for Flagship as well! I just hope that it is able to reach its funding goal before the deadline.
Sounds neat, I'll be sure to revisit this if/when I pick up an occulus.
Just something I am going to point out, an Oculus Rift is not necessary to play the game. I don't have one, and don't expect to anytime soon. But as Heavenfall brought out I might get an Oculus just for this game!
