@farshad585: I think you did some digging around and found your answer too, but if not, make sure you do step #2 of the installation procedure, found either in A_UserGuide.txt or in reply #2. It should remove at least one of the extra instances (if not both). If the values are still duplicated after that, it's likely you have a personal mod that duplicates the CoreAbilities.xml file somewhere in your mod folder (You should delete it).

Hi, I could use some help, I'm missing equipment pictures(It'll show the details of the items when they are highlighted, but that's it). I've read and re-read Primal's helpme guide, and I definitely have Children of the Storm, Black Market Bazaar and the Champions mods(the originals and Primal's Xtra) all installed. Clearly though I've messed up somewhere, somehow, and I just can't figure out for the life of me. If someone could show me screenshots of how their mods folders look(both the mods folder itself and inside the specific mods folders in question) I would be incredibly grateful, I'm pretty sure I could figure out where I've gone wrong just from that. It's driving me nuts, I've spent the last 3 hours going over it and looking up any installation guides I could find, and reading the "helpme" files for each one. Somewhere, somehow, I've messed up(I'm 99% positive it's with Children of the Storm or BMB though)
Edit: Soo, I think it might be Xtra's mod itself. I looked up several of the items that are missing the textures, and they are all from Xtra's GFX folder, not the BMB/CoS/Champions folders.
2nd Edit: So I completely un-installed the game and mods, and started fresh. I do think I had made a few errors the first time, but the same issue still continues to persist(I imagine I probably fixed a few things that likely would have cropped up a bit later in my gameplay though). I am at my wits end, I have made sure everything is installed exactly how the helpme guides say to install them. And it's definitely the XtraDeconstruct images that are the ones that are not showing up. I founded a city and opened up the shop, and everything that's not showing up, are images found in that mod. The Primitive Road Building Kit, the Soldier's line of gear, the Queens Staff.
Oddly enough, it's not ALL of the Xtra stuff that doesn't show up. The "Soldiers Boots" and "Soldiers Gloves" both show up, as does some other gear that traces back to Xtra. Any help at all would be wonderful, I'd love to play with these mods(and these are the only mods I have(CoS, BMB, Champions, XtraDeconstruct), so it's not a compatibility issue).
Wanted to add that I actually played some, and discovered that my skill and spell icons aren't showing anything either(Just yellow blobs of color), and when I leveled up there were no graphics for any of the paths that I could take either(I'm playing with Ceresa and when I leveled she had all the normal choices except for mage, which was replaced with grave lord, which also didn't show anything at all).

I can give individual screen shots of what's inside every folder if necessary(even if it's time consuming I honestly don't care at this point, I'll happily do so, I just want to be able to play my modded game to my hearts content with everything showing up properly.

1. Go into the folder called "XtraDeconstruct plus DLC_MOD Compati..."
2. Ctrl+A to select everything
3. Ctrl+X to cut everything
4. Go back into the main Mods folder ( ...\Documents\My Games\LegendaryHeroes\Mods\ ) and Ctrl+V to paste everything
5. Delete the folder called "XtraDeconstruct plus DLC_MOD Compati..."
6. Start FELH and start a New Game
P.S. If you want to double-check before starting FELH, your folders need to look like this, as indicated in step #1 of the installation (A_UserGuide.txt):

Woot! Thank you so much, that worked perfectly. I knew I must have done something wrong there, just didn't know what. Thanks for taking the time out to help me, I really appreciate it ^^.
My plan was to find Profession scrolls as loot, then be able to switch Sov and Champs professions at will.
So I enabled the scroll xml and assigned loot frequency/value. Slowly I began to find the various scrolls.
But I've noticed that you can only progress up the alphabet; Warrior to Paladin but never down (ex. Bard to Shaman).
Has anyone else tried this or know of a fix/work around?
If you want to introduce a functional dual class item/spell for champions, you have to code it similarly to the dual class sovereign talent. And it will only work with level 1 champions as specialized champions will run into the same limitation you are currently running into with scrolls. If you want it to work with all champions, you would have to remove their current specialization so that you can cast a class spell when you acquire them.
I was trying to see the mechanics of how the 'Dual Class' Sovereign ability works; specifically how it removed the first profession and trait from your Sovereign. I believe that making a spell that would 'blank' out your Sov./Champ but keep your current level and skills would work. Then at level-up or when using a profession scroll, you could continue with the new profession without hindrance.
Also, I've been trying to create items that would grant the various Sov. tame abilities to Sov./Champs by modifying the BMB equipment that grants free skills as a template. Wondering if I've done it correctly;

The easiest way is to comment out <!-- --> the path abilities for all champions using find+replace in Notepad++. However, you would have to trace the NPC and undo the change for those. Also, it would make champion selection at fame levels more confusing because none would have a class.
Best to simply give the item to a Sovereign so you can test it in-game. Or make it available in shops, for the same purpose. Or use Ctrl+I with cheats enabled.
Greetings from a new XtraDeconstruct user! I tried using this with the River Bridge mod (which is not listed as compatible) and, unsurprisingly, I cannot build bridges. What would be needed to make a mod compatible with XtraDeconstruct? (I'm asking for the bridge and also, if possible, in general).
(The bridge is some quite simple business, everything is contained in a single <ImprovementTypes> / <ImprovementType InternalName="bridge"> XML tag).
For mods not listed as compatible, simply renaming said mod files will "unlock" them. Beyond that, neither FELH nor Xtra are installed on my computer anymore, so if you run into compatibility issues with some "locked" mods, I'm afraid this is something you will have to solve by yourself...
I researched the Champion 1 tech and it started giving me a champion every turn. this does not seem to be correct behavior...
ok it happened even without the research as soon as i hit 3 fame i started getting a champion every turn.
Which sovereign/faction does that?
Was playing as "Morrigan the Risen" of "The Dead" - will try a diff sov see if it repeats the behhavior...
Don't remember anything specific in The Dead code that could trigger that although I did add quite a bit of stuff for them. Not saying it didn't happen, would need a saved game and would need to reinstall FELH for me to check it out however.
If it starts happening again with The Dead or with some other faction, check how much Fame per turn you're getting (Hover over Fame resource).
Also, make sure you're not in cheat mode, Ctrl-r or Ctrl-m would do something similar (Although not exactly what you describe).
Hey just found fallen enchantress again after 3 years and so and installed the greatest combo (xtra+COS+BMB+CB+NoXpSplit)
I think I got the mods to work together, especially after consulting the massive faq section of xtra's install manual.
However after conquering Deorcnysse the city's tier improvement just show up as a "string not found message", making the city rather tame.
I suspect it is somehow due to me playing a custom faction, but I did select to have Deorcnysse secrets. Anyone know if this problem has been found before?
As far as I remember, Deorcnysse doesn't specialize even though it lets you pick a "specialization". It's one of the reasons it was so difficult to fix, the other main reason being it was managed by the creature AI until conquered (or more likely, no AI at all). The principal benefits of conquering the city are it's rather favorable location and the four(?) essences. I've also added some Darkling defenders and some shop items, but never went as far as developing a whole line of buildings for it.
The 'string not found' message should not happen if you have the X_elemental.str file in the right folder ( ...\Documents\My Games\LegendaryHeroes\Mods\Data\X_elemental.str ). I know you've mentioned looking at the FAQ, but if your FELH is installed in a custom directory I would double check FAQ #43 and #95. At any rate, string messages are only cosmetics and do not unlock features or anything. In other words, they're annoying but not game breaking.
