This usually happens when step 2 of the installation guide is skipped/missed. You then get trait bonuses from the mod file AND the core files, so 2x.
2. Installation (Copy+Paste) Locate the 0_NO folder: ...\Mods\0_NO\ Copy all files found in said folder (Ctrl+A, followed by Ctrl+C) Locate the Core folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FE Legendary Heroes\data\English\ or C:\GOG Games\Fallen Enchantress - Legendary Heroes\data\English\ Paste all previously copied files (Ctrl+V) If/When asked what to do, click "Copy and Replace" If/When asked if you still want to merge folders, click "Yes"
Doing this will fix the issue for future games. Your current game can't be fixed. In other words, you need to restart LH and start a New Game for the changes to apply.
Also, if you have a 1920x1080 (or greater), read section "H1. (UI\Optional) - XW_1920x1080_Primal".
If you have less than 1920x1080, then read H2. to H10., but particularly "H10. (UI) - XW_UnitDetailsWnd".
If you run into other issues, just post, likely something someone ran into at some point.

I have a question about these pocket/abstract weapons like Adept's Rod. The description makes it sound like it suppose to work along side your regular weapon like a staff and it's in the armor category but when I equip it my staff get's unequipped. It says "spellcaster's will find holding this rod with their primary staff greatly bolsters their spellcasting ... etc" Same with this Pocket Crossbow from the armor category unequips regular weapon.
Since they don't have any dmg themselves I would guess they are meant to work with a secondary normal weapon.
Is this working as intended or maybe something not working right on my side?
Most item descriptions in the mod are literary more than anything. Pocket Dagger is an accessory from BMB Mod. Pocket Crossbow, Adept's Rod, etc. are "shields", as seen when you hover over the item (Top left icon). Thus, you can only use them w/ 1H weapons. There's a few 1H Staffs in BMB Mod, but I don't remember any in Vanilla FELH.
With that said, I can see it would be confusing to see "with their primary staff" when most staffs are 2H weapons and won't work w/ the Adept's Rod. Even if flowery, descriptions shouldn't confuse the user. I can probably change the description to indicate "primary weapon" instead which, while not perfect, is an improvement.

Hello, first of all thanks for the mod, its a like having a new game ^^
The problem of x2 at traits now i see that the problem is that i pass step two (it was a hard problem when i fight with a ghost with +50% pierce resist x2 = 100% pierce resist = inmune to physical attacks muhahahahaha)
1st doubt, at outpost i dont see Farm/windmill, i´m sure it is because i am using the dead and they don´t need food (didn´t try with other faccion). In this case, can you change or create graves instead of farm and another think instead of windmill, like the grain resource, i can build +30 graves.
2nd. I don´t see the beer resource in anyplace, and that´s a problem, because i cannot use any creature resource like ogre lair or similar, even with technology i got the follow message: Can´t build. Requires 100 Gildar, 10 resource_XL_Beer. (got docens of taberns which produce +1 beer and the next improve +2 beer) Also at diplomacy i don´t have any option to trade with beer resource.
I tried buying beer for gildar with the speelbook but nothing, i cannot build any creature lair because i don´t have XX resource_XL_Beer (XX is different amount depend on the creature, ogre, troll, dragon lair....)
3rd doubt: how to enchant items, enchant items and the use of the crystals (green, orange, blue....), i can create the items with the spellbook, i have a wizard who can create dragon collar (or beast i dont remember) and i got the spell enchant collar at the spellbook. I trade the collar to the champion with all the crystals (because i don´t know how to use them) but the spell is at grey and i can´t cast enchant collar. Not enought resources_x_A4
Also i don´t know how to forge items (i can create them with the spellbook, but don´t know next step) and i got forge items that i can equip to improve forge, but don´t know anything more.

Beer Resource problem will be fixed the same way the trait values x2 is fixed (That is, by doing step #2 of the installation!).
After having done step #2, make sure to restart FELH and start a New Game.
The recipes can be found in the user guide (A_UserGuide.txt in XtraDeconstruct folder) toward the end of the document. The document is also available online. Look for (Using Ctrl+f) the expression "III. Crafting" without the quotes. You should find two occurrences of it, the second one is where you want to go.
The same information is also available in-game in the Hiergamenon, "Game Concepts" section, "Forging and Enchanting" subsection.
As a rule of thumb, crafting requires two steps. (1.) The champion w/ adequate forging power forges an item (Using a spell) and then, (2.) the champion w/ equivalent enchanting power consumes the forged item and enchants an item (Using a spell). Collar recipes are as follow:

Amethyst Collar (Abjuration + 1 Orange Arcanium + 2 Purple Arcanium)
Bone Collar (Necromancy + 3 Orange Arcanium)
Iron Collar (Geomancy + 1 Grey Arcanium + 2 Purple Arcanium)
Primordial Collar (Summon III + 1 Yellow Arcanium + 2 Purple Arcanium)
Scale Collar (Volcanic Rites + 2 Red Arcanium + 2 Purple Arcanium)
Studded Collar (Summon Wisp + 1 Green Arcanium + 2 Purple Arcanium)
Be aware that you can only charm lesser dragons w/ such collars. Generally, that's the non-flying kind, e.g. Drake/Slag.
With that said, the way missing resources are shown in-game [e.g. resource_XL_Beer (Beer) and resources_x_A4 (Red Arcanium)] is not very user-friendly which is somewhat annoying to me... I'm going to have to try and track them down to see if I can put something more user-friendly. I'm not entirely sure this will be possible at this point without modifying many files, will have to see if it's worth it.
You would be right, Farm/Windmill are not showing because you're using the dead.
I don't mod much these days, but will try and see if graves-related outpost improvement(s) can be added for the dead w/o too much effort.

Run into an annoying issue. I'm like 120 seasons into this game and under Foreign Relations the "Relations With Us" part of it has disappeared. Only showing Active Treaties and then Foreign Policy. Checked all my saves for this game and all of them have the same issue. Not sure when it started but I check that part pretty often.
Any ideas?
(Edit: Hmm. I just checked a couple turns later and it's back. I went back thru 3 hours of saves though and it was missing from all of them. )
Must be a new issue w/ LH 2.1. Don't think I've seen this happen before or at least it has never been reported. If you upload one of the problematic saved game, I will check it out, just to see if I get the issue as well and if anything unusual shows up in the debug.err file.
Beyond that, the core diplomacy files haven't changed in LH 2.1 and they've been stable as well in the mod files for quite a while now. I'm guessing, anyway, that this isn't XML related. Feels like, maybe, the diplomatic weights are being reset for some reason?
Anyway, good that it fixed itself, on its own. If you do upload a saved game to Dropbox or similar, I will download it and check it out.
Well I'm using GoG ultimate and it says 2.0 in the main startup menu at the bottom? I haven't seen any mention at gog of an ultimate version update to 2.1?
Here's a saved game if you want to check it out. LH "Relation to Us" missing. It's the first time I've noticed it happening. Seems to have corrected itself somehow still.
GoG LH 2.1 should be available. I know I've updated my GoG version to 2.1 (and you should definitely update yours as well)... However, the issue was already there in LH 2.0 if you're still running LH 2.0. At any rate, I looked at the saved game, saw the missing relations, and as soon as I clicked "Turn" they came back. Not sure what to make of it, nothing in the debug.err that I can relate this to.
While I was looking around, trying to find a cause, I noticed two problems w/ the mod. There is some display issue w/ the UnitStats in your unit screen. It's all messed up really, they're all over the place, using the old nomenclature, and are missing icons. I think you've installed the 2.0p.5 patch, so I'm going to look into it and see if the patch needs a patch *shrugs*. Also, you're bleeding Fame because of Verga, shouldn't happen, he should be neither giving you some nor taking away some. For some reason the Broken Spirit weakness has an extra -5 Fame hidden in it on your installation (It should be +5 and -5, but yours is +5 and -10). I will have to check some stuff this weekend.
For the UnitStats screen I just deleted the file as you suggested in your FAQ part of the readme to return it to vanilla instead of trying to figure out which stats I wanted. The screen looks "normal" on my end as far as I can tell. Show's 14 stats. My computer can only go to 1280*1024 4:3 resolution so I had alot of stat bleeding into equipment page as it was. Only played 1 campaign mission and a few attempts at sandbox before I installed the mods.
I wondered about that "Fame" issue. I thought maybe these mods changed that on purpose. I had like -130 fame until I built a +100 fame wonder. I think it was like -30ish in that save. Didn't realize he was the cause. Did a steal spirit and went back to normal.
Talking about hero/sovereign's is it normal that most of them have Gravelord / Bard instead of warrior as part of there path's to pick at lvl 2? My last couple games I think I've only seen 1 warrior option to pick? This last game I wanted to try something different so I went with angel's faction that can't utilize death shard's at all and yet my angel Colopatiron sovereign had Gravelord path again instead of warrior. Are those path options assigned when those sovereign's are created? Not sure what's going on.
Ok, false alarm then. I do wonder why I'm not loading the game as you're seeing it. Saved game should have all your XML embedded. I'll put that in the magic category since my science can't explain it.
I managed to track down the issue, will fix it in a patch this weekend (though it won't apply to current games). Issue is affecting all games not using AI Difficulty Level Expert+, unfortunate.
It's a screen resolution issue. There's now 12 paths available, alphabetically ordered, but I can't show them all on 1280x1024. At minimum you would need 1366x768 to see them all in one screen. You can either scroll down with your mouse to 2nd (Paths #6-#10) or 3rd (Paths #11-#12) screens or check section "H8. (UI\Optional) - XW_TraithPathChoiceWnd & XW_TraitPathChoiceWnd_2_Rows" and use the following screen: "\6 Columns\ Can see up to 6 Paths (Width: 1217)", which will reduce the number of screens to scroll to two instead of three.

Is it easy fix maybe I can put in my game quick. Was gonna start over on Challenging difficulty since normal seemed a bit easy. I still don't see how the AI gets so many resources so quick. I had it on Dense resources but even in my last game (with normal resource setting) that I didn't finish the AI had hundreds of crystal and iron and horses when I hadn't even started collecting horses yet. They probably tech straight to horses but still I don't see how they accumulate the crystals, iron and horses that fast.
My first vanilla sandbox game I was last in power even at normal difficulty. But seems a bit easier with mods or I'm getting used to game.
I've noticed all map sizes above large say "Unstable" in the tooltip? Can we not play those sizes? I usually like big maps and alot of AI's.

The fix I will publish this weekend will be doing something different than what I'm going to write right now, but if you need a quick fix, rename this file (You will have to undo this when the fix is published.):

Or edit said file w/ Notepad, and change the -5 to 0 (You will have to undo this when the fix is published.).
AI gets resource bonuses from the Mod. It's just doing a very poor job of using these resources until you ramp up the difficulty because it doesn't tech fast enough on lower difficulty settings.
It's just my personal experience on these map sizes, your experience may be different, but I prefer to let players know so they don't get angry if they start crashing every 2-3 seasons mid game.
Also, if you're playing versus challenging AI, you may be able to have a lot of AI on these map sizes, but if you're playing against Insane AI or XSavage AI, you will probably not want that many. The tougher AI expands fast and they build massive quantity of units, this will slow down turn time quite a lot and increase crashes as they decide what to do w/ their gazillion armies.
In summary, huge+ maps should be vs reduced number of AI if strong AI. However, you may be able to face numerous challenging AI w/o too many issues, it's not a setting I usually test much.

BTW In the last game I found that removing a wonder from the build Q doesn't refund any of the materials used to start it like 50 beers. Is this by design?
There's a few mentions of this in LH Support forum. I don't believe Stardock bothered answering, although they might have, that was long ago. I guess you could say it's by design - just not a very good one - if they didn't change it / bothered answering. I was also under the impression that at some point in LH timeline, it was only the mod resources that weren't being reimbursed, but to tell the truth, I don't know anymore.
I've noticed alot of ninja weapons but I don't see how to become a Ninja. Did a search and found a mod for a Ninja path. Is there a way to gain those bonuses from ninja weapons in this mod currently?

Hi Primal, i decided to play FE:LH again after finishing up getting all dlc & have installed everything in the mod correctly playing on a 24 inch monitor at native 1920x1080 resolution.
I used your 1920x1080 screen files but come across the problem of all the screens around the edges are cutoff using the large screen scale option.
Are we expected to use the small ui option for your 1920x1080 screen files?
