Indeed, the faction strength Stealth is quite powerful; gives a taste of what being an AI feels like (given they are hardly targeted by creatures).
And if you're still missing some FELH DLC, I think the bundle has a fairly good sale going on for another 12 hours or so.
Quick question because the search function sucks on these forums.
I noticed on one of my custom factions I have "Black Hole" listed as a "trait". What exactly is that?
If you're seeing this when you hover over the race in the workshop / faction creator, it's normal. I don't think I can hide it on that screen. However, if you're seeing this anywhere else, then it's abnormal and I will need your custom faction XML to see what went wrong.
That said, the Black Hole is not (well, shouldn't be I guess) faction-related; the information you get when you hover over the race in the faction creator is actually the generic male sovereign ability list, so some stuff isn't race/faction-related.
More specifically, the Black Hole is used to hide over 100 blockers affecting Champions and Sovereigns. It's basically irrelevant to players as it's only used for mod mechanisms and it should, itself, be hidden under another ability (Is Champion), which is why you shouldn't see it in-game.
Mr. Primal Savage I'm having a little trouble with your modpack. I've read most of the readme (quite entertaining btw) and followed the instructions included. I've been over the encyclopedia of installation a few times (double checking myself) and I'm as sure as I can be that I did everything right. Despite my efforts when I launch FELH and start a new game there are missing avatars of sovereigns with nothing but floating weapons for Edror, Vini, Lochean, and Irathiiv which leads me to believe I have not done everything right. Is there anyone else with this problem? Is there a fix or should I just trash everything and try another fresh install? I just did a fresh install of FELH and installed these mods in this order: 1. Patchwork, 2. XtraDeconstruct, 3. Black Market Bazaar, 4. Champion Bonanza. I have all the DLCs. There was a guy with a similar problem 20 pages ago who didn't have the leaderpack DLC and you told him to delete Documents\My Games\LegendaryHeroes\Mods\XtraDeconstruct\D5_leaderpack so I tried it, fired up the game and it's the same. I have a bazillion new sovereigns to choose from but 4 of them are missing portraits. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you sir and very much looking forward to playing your modpack.

A.) XtraDeconstruct is not compatible w/ Patchwork, so you need to remove that. Now, I haven't looked at Patchwork installation in ages, but if it installs files in the core directory (as I remember it), it's quite possible things will be really messed up with XtraDeconstruct. You will need to use Steam to "Verify Integrity of Game Files" (Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files) and then reinstall all mods (excluding Patchwork, obviously). It's also quite possible some Patchwork files won't be removed by verifying the integrity through Steam since they have no equivalent files in the original game. Meaning even once you've done all that, some Patchwork files will probably still be there.
B.) If you have all DLC, then you need to keep Leader Pack DLC files (DLC05), they are needed. You can get them separately on the download page if needed.

C.) For the issue with Sovereigns, you need to install the latest version of Children of Storm (Edror, Vini, Lochean, Irathiiv (and a bunch of others)).

D.) Once you've done all that, let me know. All that will be left will be to track and delete the Patchwork files that didn't get deleted.
Alternatively, if you don't want to mess around finding Patchwork files, you can uninstall FELH completely and start from scratch.
Cool Beans, it seems to be working now. I deleted everything to get rid of Patchwork and went with a fresh install. I was missing Children of Storm so that was definitely linked to the sovereign avatars not rendering. I can't directly link any errors to patchwork and it might have been interesting to try and include it and see what happens, breaking games and fresh installs are my specialty +p. BTW patchwork was copying to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FE Legendary Heroes\data\English I think, (It didn't put anything in documents\mygames\LH\Mods. I overided a ton of files on the install so anything else but a fresh install would have been a pain in the bacon. I'm excited to try this mod pack out. I have a new rig with a watercooled 1080 and a 6600k but all the new releases are weak. There seems to be a serious lack of good content to play with. I've played all the Rimworld and Warhammer: Total War I can stand. This is one of my favorite 4x games and I'm excited to see what work you and the other modders did. I really wish Stardocks did a remake of this game with updated graphics, textures, hexes, and AI improvements instead of that Sorcerer King thing. Anyway, thanks for keeping this game alive. I'm gonna fire this bad boy up and get into my first playthrough.

Hey Primal just wanted to say I've been seriously enjoying your mod so far. However I've noticed two issues with my game as of late:
Attacking an army on arctic terrain and starting a tactical battle locks up the game, but not always. It seems almost guaranteed to happen when attacking monster lairs.
The acid gland accessory heals units for 3 points rather than damage them, occasionally leaving some of a stack's units alive after a battle has finished.
The last one isn't much of an issue but the whole locking up before a tactical battle is a bit concerning since I don't trust autoresolve. Would you happen to know what could be causing this?

It's an issue that crept in after the LH 2.0 update. Thought I had fixed all of these. Surprised it went undetected for close to 2 years, maybe I messed it up in an update. I'll put out a patch once we figure out the arctic terrain issue (in case it also requires a patch).
Is this for version 2.0.m or later (2.0.n, 2.0.p, 2.0.p.3)?
Do you own Battlegrounds DLC (DLC06)?
If the answer is yes to both questions, then upload a saved game to Dropbox or similar and give me a link. I will need to see what is going on.
If you have an older version of the mod (2.0.a to 2.0.k), then upgrade to the latest version.
If you don't own DLC06, then try and see if you can find the file XH_Terrains_D6.xml in your X_Shared folder and if it's there, delete it. It shouldn't be there provided you've downloaded the right files.

One way or another, changes to XML are only applied when you start a New Game.

Beyond idiosyncratic behavior, beyond outdated info, and beyond erasing my journey through this evil universe, when a user posts in the thread, it's useful feedback for me; would not happen if all the information was out there and then, I wouldn't know how prevalent a problem is. That said, I generally leave answers to the most frequent issues somewhere and link to them when needed. Now, if you think you've found a reply you absolutely need to read, you can click on "View all edits made to this reply" (bottom right, just left of "Quote reply") and the pre-N/A reply will show up. If you endorse said reply - meaning it's useful to you - I might even put it back up!
Regarding your problem, the Drota Kennel/Drota Stable were replaced by a more generic Trapper Camp/Equine Farm (Gourmets Faction Weakness) in version 2.0.k. when I made some changes to make all Children of Storm races usable in the Faction Creator. Technically, said Drota Kennel/Stable shouldn't even show up anywhere anymore as they are no longer loaded with the game XML. I've tried thinking why they would show up in your game, but can't figure it out, meaning you can either send me a saved game link (Dropbox) so I can have a look or you can delete these three folders:
...\Documents\My Games\LegendaryHeroes\Mods\0_NO\
...\Documents\My Games\LegendaryHeroes\Mods\Gfx\XtraDeconstruct\

I only have that shard scroll in the beginning. Did u remove that "choose-path-invitation" scroll?
Yes, at some point the AI started to use them to pick traits from all paths. Not a big problem, but somewhat defeats the purpose of the scrolls. I need to implement a fix for this with unit stats and haven't had the time to do this. That said, the file is still there, so you can re-enable them if you want. Simply rename the following file (Modify the extension from .NO/.xml):
...\Documents\My Games\LegendaryHeroes\Mods\XtraDeconstruct\X_Equipment\XE_InvitationScrolls.NO
to:

No, its okay as is it. I think Morrigan with that Ereogs Amulett is even better as an evil Paladin.

Too bad they didnt fix that city radius bug after reloading a savegame.
That patch was almost 2 years ago (I think Oct 2015 or thereabouts) and it actually made that city radius bug worse. Last we heard was about 10 months ago they finally reproduced it in house and then radio silence ever since.
Indeed, Ereog's Token isn't something that should be on a starting sovereign (but no worries, I'm not changing this!); it's one of the most powerful item for melee classes.
Yes, I renamed Stamina to Battle Wisdom in version 2.0.a. (Which came out during FELH 2.0 Beta) somewhere at the end of summer 2015. I explain why in the user guide, FAQ #44.
As BlackSmokeDMax points out, the official 2.0 version came out around Thanksgiving 2015. That was the last content patch. Meaning at this point, we've been on 2.0 longer than any other version the game has seen! (BTW, I do like version 2.0, I just wished that...)
After that, they had a few patches to (try to) remove registration. It's possible they removed registration for new users, but as far as I can tell, registration process is still there for those who registered before (I recently did a clean installation of Windows 10, so had to reinstall FELH and the registration box appeared). Whether or not they're aware of that, I don't know...
Before 2.0, the only radius issue I remember was with (re?)capturing outposts. Otherwise, it's as explained by the previous poster. See also [1][2][3]. I feel it's unbecoming for a developer to leave such an issue in, especially for 2 years, but then, every time they've done something to the game after 2.0 came out, they've messed up [1][2]. At this point, my only hope is they put in a fix for this issue (Affects 100% of user base), but what I'm seeing is a Brad trying to get the high resolution in [1][2] (Affects 5% of the user base) *shrugs* . And on that, I'm off for the day, enjoy 2.0.p.3/4.
Brad also kinda has a similar or worse fire with the crusade expansion for gc III. tho despite the issues fe:lh and gc: III are still my top played games.
the potential is there for something beyond good, but the execution isn't quite there yet.

Seems I mixed up some things. Now I ve read the date of the lasts news and it is from the year 2015. My fault.
Anyway, I think that resolution stuff is easier to implement than to find a nasty bug. Also for every dumb reviewer, who only play some hours for their subscribers, it is incredible important to use these resolutions and have a map which can be zoomed and circled and stuff like this, instead of game content.
