You can upload your images to postimage.
You can upload your saved games to Dropbox or similar.
You can upload (copy+paste) your debug.err file to pastebin. This is very rarely needed.

I have reproduced the Installation procedure and some FAQ in this thread, to facilitate the process.
See reply #2, reply #3, reply #5, and reply #2208.
Primal_Savage I understand I was just throwing it out there. Since I was super smart and didn't back-up I just did a re-install. No biggie.
the tile mod worked for me. did you read the read me and copy the 4 or so files over to eng/data in the main fe:LH folder, not your mod one?
also anyone have the core screen files for fallen enchantress? not legendary heros, was messing around and hoped just copying primals main screens over (the ones that makes 10 hotkeys show, not 5) and broke it. wasn't smart enough to make a back up before i did so. *note i may have been a little drunk while trying this*
the screen display works, but nothing in the interface responds to my mouse clicks.
specifically MainActionsContextWnd.dxpack, MainContextDetailsSubWnd.dxpack, MainContextVitalsWnd.dxpack and MainGameWnd.dxpack?
guess i could try the core ones in xdecon, and hope that works, otherwise i guess i will need to redownload fallen enchantress from stardock *tried, didn`t think it would work and doesn`t*
primal was once again awesome and helped me out.
OK I updated the ReadMe in my TileMod; make sure to delete the file in the 0_NO folder after copying or the Mod will not work properly.
For anyone still playing FE:LH with [LH 2.0] XtraDeconstruct: Legacy of Magic (23 August 2016) and associated mods:
I’ve recently gotten back into FE:LH with all its DLC and since Primal keeps this mod up to date and offers ever so much extra content this is the go to mod for my playing preference – not taking anything away from anyone else (Heavenfall, you’re great).
I’ve recently had a short conversation with him because (perhaps like other “micro-modders”) I change the ElementalDefs file to suit a few of my likes.
What was frustrating me was that I could not change the “MinDistancesBetweenCities” for his larger sized maps and I couldn’t figure out why. The answer is quite “easy.”
In Xtra Deconstruct this file is located in X_Shared and is entitled XH_ElementalDefs
Quoting Primal:
You cannot add new XML tags for the new Snaky/Pangea map types or Gigantic/Colossal/Titanic/Gargantuan/Ludicrous map sizes. However, those new map types and map sizes will use the "next" value as set by the current XML tags.
So if you want to modify the MinDistanceBetweenCities for Medium Snaky, which appears, in game, before Medium in the list of World Sizes, then you need to modify the value MinDistancesBetweenCities_MediumMap.
If you want to modify MinDistanceBetweenCities for Medium Pangea, which appears, in game, after Medium in the list of World Sizes, then you need to modify the value MinDistancesBetweenCities_LargeMap.
If you want to modify anything appearing after Huge in the list of World Sizes (Huge Pangea+), then you need to modify the value MinDistancesBetweenCities_TinyMap.
Basically, MinDistancesBetweenCities_Map_X_Colossal cannot be used, but if you modify MinDistancesBetweenCities_TinyMap to 13, it should work for Colossal.
I can confirm this works as described. I simply changed all of my MinDistancesBetweenCities to the same number.
To end with a compliment: I like FE:LH, or rather, I wish I could like it much more. The game could be more stable and it could have better polish (the direction of Sorcerer King) but with [LH 2.0] XtraDeconstruct: Legacy of Magic I have renewed interest.
If anyone has interest in my ElementalDefs I could always throw it on Nexus.
[I typed this at work, apologies if I misnamed a file – I can correct later]
N/A
It took me a while to finally get the game working with all the mods, but now I'm almost there.
There's just one little bug that seems to have cropped up, which is that passive unit/racial abilities are triggering twice. For example my units with Mancer blood have +2 speed (it says +1 +1 when hovered over with the cursor), the ones with discipline get +2 accuracy per level instead of +1, etc.Anyone know what's causing this? Is it a known issue from me not installing it properly? I'm pretty sure I followed all the steps and deleted certain files for compatibility reasons.
Any help would be appreciated, I've spent so long trying to get everything to work!
Usually happens when the files in ...\Mods\0_NO\ folder haven't been copied to the (Local) Core folder. Try installation step #2 again. Once done, you will need to restart LH and start a New Game to see the changes.
2. Installation (Copy+Paste)
Locate the 0_NO folder: ...\Mods\0_NO\
Copy all files found in said folder (CTRL-A, followed by CTRL-C)
Locate the Core folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FE Legendary Heroes\data\English\ or C:\GOG Games\Fallen Enchantress - Legendary Heroes\data\English\
Paste all previously copied files (CTRL-V)
If/When asked what to do, click "Copy and Replace"
Oh hey one is mine!
Anyway just wanted to say thank you for working so hard to improve this game. Seems you are about one of the only people still working on what is really a amazing, if deeply flawed, game. Thank you sire for keeping the candle burning.
also, if your not in a typical location, properties in steam and browse under local file tab can take you there. copy the .exe and paste a shortcut on the desktop works too.
I do not recall seeing any fe:LH downloads lately so I think it is somehow a steam side issue. Also the fact that using the .exe still works seems to support that
Might have something to do w/ the previous patch (09/28) to remove registration. At any rate, until a few hours ago, there was a CD Key entry in the Steam FELH right-click menu. It has now been removed which I presume is why it's now working properly.
Hello,
I've just noticed some "string not found" issues regarding some spellbook category entries and their corresponding tooltip infos (marked icons):
I am using the following mod combo:
+"Champion Bonanza-1082-1-3" (incl. Pillagers, Miscreants and Villains)
+"Black Market Bazaar compatible with -Children of Storm-XtraDeconstruct- and friends-1885-2-0"
+"2.0.k.BETA XtraDeconstruct plus DLC_MOD Compatibility Files-1894-2-0k-BETA"
Furthermore:
- followed the instructions and deleted the "M_ChildrenOfStorm" folder - because i'm not using this mod
- applied the "XW_1920x1080_Primal" folder
- everything else -> default
- checked The X_elemental.str file - it is located in my Data folder: ...\Documents\My Games\LegendaryHeroes\Mods\Data\X_elemental.str
Any idea what I am missing?
For some users (usually those who have FELH installed in a Custom directory or on a drive other than C:\ ) the STR file doesn't work from the Data folder. In most cases (all?) the issue is fixed by moving X_elemental.str to
...\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FE Legendary Heroes\data\English\X_elemental.str or...\GOG Games\Fallen Enchantress - Legendary Heroes\data\English\X_elemental.str
Depending on whether this is a Steam or GOG installation.
Thank you very much Primal_Savage - that did the trick!
Those who are able to readAre at an advantage indeed!
