3. Bug Reports3.1 General
When you report a bug, please include a saved game and, if possible, a screenshot.
I (often) need to reproduce a bug in order to fix it. Thanks!
3.2 Helpful Sites
You can upload your images to postimage.
You can upload your saved games to Dropbox or similar.
You can upload (copy+paste) your debug.err file to pastebin. This is very rarely needed.
4. Common (Installation) Issues4.1 General
Most common installation issues are covered in the User Guide.
See, specifically:

4.2 Specifically
I have reproduced the Installation procedure and some FAQ in this thread, to facilitate the process.
See reply #2, reply #3, reply #5, and reply #2208.
I see now that your way of doing it with events is probably the most sensible way. Don't really want duplicate events so I'll keep it as is. Any insight as to my last question about critical dmg%?
I cast the first one above, and got no horses.
I meant that the two trades listed above do not include a line indicating what you'll get if you cast one, or the other.
I'm using a customized Pariden-like faction. I've got CoS, Black Market Bazaar, and Champion Bonanza installed.
N/A
Sweet I'll try that out immediately
edit; sweet it worked, you are like some kind of FE guru!
OPTIONAL:
The user can modify ElementalDefs.xml. This is totally optional. The file is located in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FE Legendary Heroes\data\English
Set MaxActiveQuests to 25 instead of 10:
<MaxActiveQuests>25</MaxActiveQuests>
Is there anyway to edit the Max Active Quests from the Mod folder, maybe as part of your Xtra_Game_ElementalDefs mod?
Thanks Primal! Will try out the new versions. I have a habit of not finishing the game I want to finish because I keep restarting it each time you release a new version.
Can you package the following into a .zip file and give me a download link?
- A saved game where the problem is occurring (.EleSav)
- Your custom faction .xml (Found in C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\LegendaryHeroes\Race\ )
- Your custom sovereign .xml (Found in C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\LegendaryHeroes\Units\ )
EDIT: Oh, add your custom spearmen (If it is a custom spearmen), should be found in same folder as your custom sovereign
My apologies for the late reply. I've been migrating software (slowly) to our new computer.
I was wrong about a customized faction. It's Pariden, but with a custom ruler. The last saved game is there, however, as is the sovereign. I'll send those on. What email address do you want me to use? PM me, if that's alright. I don't maintain a page for downloads--other than on Tindeck, and that's just for music I'm sharing.
Zipfile's on its way.
I've noticed a lot of events in the first 50 turns, even with random events set to less than the standard. It's either that, or turn them off altogether. Is there any way a setting could be created that spaces them out more, and offers a selection of quests, disasters, and roaming monsters rather than the lot? Perhaps with a checkbox that lets you select the frequency of events, and also whether you want every one of them in a given game? Just a thought, mind you.
Thanks. I'll go those a shot as soon as I finish my current game, which should be very soon.
I've played a new games with "less random events" for a few hours, and so far, I like the change. It doesn't feel as though everybody is throwing everything they've got at me quickly, from quests to roaming monsters.
I like that. If you don't mind, please let me know when you group the four files for your dropbox. I'm close enough to the beginning that I wouldn't mind starting, again.
