Well, I've made a mod file which makes the forest leather compatible with all the new mod race models (as well as TheDead DLC04). Just put in your Mods\Z directory.

PrimalSavage, which are the perk positions which are most likely to be incompatible with X D?
N/A
Do I need to change the X positions?
Even though it doesn't show properly which perk links to which one, I haven't noticed any skills that have been unavailable when using Heroic Pursuits with all the other mods that I have. Does it means that some skills block other ones, like Life and Death magic used to do to each other? Or something else?
Yes, it would be nice to have it all aesthetically down pat, but if it works, and I can learn what connects to what, I think I will leave it as is, at least for the moment.
I know I may be asking for a lot of work, but here I go: could you make a "lore friendly" version? What I mean is now I feel like reading the source files with all the tags and what not, I would like the displayed texts to be more immersive.
Aslo I found a bug with character screen: the stats are displayed over the inventory screen with makes it really hard to equip something.
Regarding the stats screen: Primal did include several dxpacks for editing the unit details window in terms of resolution, which might fix the issue, depending on your resolution.
If that doesn't work (or, even, in addition to that change), you can hide some of the stats. You also have to be up for a bit of modding, as it requires you to edit the "<Hidden>" tag in XtraDeconstruct's UnitStatsDetails XML.
Both solutions are given in much greater detail in the readme: http://www.nexusmods.com/mods/166/readmes/XtraDeconstruct_readme.txt
Specifically, you'd want to look into sections "G" and "O" of the readme. Hope this helps out with that one.
Thanks for the info, but the inventory display is just a small thing I decided to mention. I felt that there was a solution for that. However it was the presentation of the texts is what really drove me away from this mod. I just find it painful to read the descriptions that look like a raw XML files. It ruins my immersion and also is pretty hard to read for a casual LH player.
Please, do consider a "lore friendly" version.
Ok, I chosen my wording badly. I did not mean the fluff descriptions, but the formatting of the actual stats, take the Shrill Harpoon. I would prefer if it looked like this:
7 Attack
+10 Accuracy vs. Elementals
+5 Attack vs. Elementals
Immunity to Counterattack
Impale - Special attack that can hit two targets in a row.
Pierce Armor - Ignores 33% of target's defense.
As you can see it just a small change, but IMHO the stats look a bit more elegant.
You know: I would love to say I will edit all the descriptions, but I wont, as usually this ends with loads of work done, loss of interest into the game and wishing I could strangle the modder with his own intestines.
So, kudos for putting this mod together, but I wont be using it unfortunately. Still, best of luck!
Primal, I have tried a few games, and there seem to be a lot more Order and Chaos nodes then normal ones (though it may just be the games I played).
In the current version of XtraDeconstruct, I am not really seeing the advantages of these nodes. What would be the best way to make these less common? Would it be to change the "Rarity" in XL_2_Shards?
Or am I missing some advantages (I often play the Pariden).
Also, for some reason, snaking wasn't working for me for Piers. So I commented out
<BarredTerrain>Category:Land</BarredTerrain>
<PreferredTerrain>SuperCategory:Land</PreferredTerrain>
in XC_Snaking.xml, and that seemed to fix for me. Not sure if this was caused by some other mod I have installed. (using 1.7f)
Quick question, what file is the sovereign weaknesses located in? I'm looking to see how to make a faction-wide unable to mount.
sorry if this was asked before...
Is this mod compatible with the Demons&Wizards?
Out of curiosity, what are the development plans for this mod?
What will happen after SK comes out? Will there be a final version and then focus brought over to SK?
Brad has also hinted at the possibility of another FE expansion, so I presume that the mod will be updated for that?
Ok thanks for the update.
I suspect that this game has seen its last major patch until the next expansion, particularly with SK taking up the overwhelming majority of the developer resources.
Don't worry about the mod - life comes first.
