First I would like to take the thank rjhughes67 for taking up this project. Nacey has had a lot of things on his plate and so he has not gotten around to Distant Stars lately. He says he will occasionally pop in with comments and ideas but his time is being taken up else where. I, Ryat, will continue to be forum moderator and master bug hunter for this project. And maybe the occasional change/addition.
Second I would like to thank Nacey, -Ue_Carbon, Draakjacht, Stant123 and Skyline (the originator of this mod) for all of their hard work on this project. Also give thanks to all the modders whose mod projects we used, abused and otherwise mutilated for our own mod.
And finally to our fans. Let's face it. Sins of a Solar Empire is a very moddable game and there are some excellent mods out there. We thank you for sticking with us.
And now without further ado the links.....
Thanks for looking into that, Ryat.
Then I must have pulled that file from the wrong folder without noticing... sorry about that.
Though I recently noticed a tiny issue. Some ships have the EW bombers on slot 3 and others have the gunships on that slot, making it a bit inconvenient to build the small-craft you want when two such ships are grouped together.
I remember that change.
Its working as intended.
True, that would cause a small issue. Never noticed it as I do that individually or in like groups. May move gunships to slot 4.
*swats Carbon on the ass*
I never notice those things either, but I will say that when I played, I'd group all of my capitals together as a second hotkey so that as strikecraft were eliminated I could change out to what's working better, and if strikecraft are overlapping on the slots, then I'd be fairly pissed about not getting what I want out there.
It's one of those micromanagement things that shouldn't be messed with.

Downloading. (And commenting to mark this topic.)
Not sure why I stopped playing this game, but to me, DS is sins.
Welcome back.
Pew Pew Pew!
I think I listen to you bub, when you:
A: Play Rebellion =P
B: Quit working non stop
C: Quit working at universities =P
D: When your daughter isn't around
I think A is only requirement.
Ninja please....... (Not the meme, 'cause you is a ninja.)
C & D are already happening (back to working at hospitals at night and the kid is living with her mom for the foreseeable future). A is an impossibility unless you get Valve to unban my accounts or I use alternate methods to get the game and bypass steam (but still may preclude me from playing online so there'd really be no point). So really only B is the pressing issue.
haha....
i knew all this already. b/c im a ninja bahaha
Just got around to getting this installed yesterday and OH MY GOD IT LOOKS FREAKING AMAZING!!!

Glad you like. More to come once I get around to fixing/improving certain things. Hopefully right in line with the 1.82 update.
May already be aware, but I'd like to point out that the Advent Loyalist Starbase has a couple typos in its upgrades. Forget which, but it's the last two on the bottom row. It says it upgrades antimatter instead of the ability it gives. It does however seem to function properly, so not a priority issue, just thought I'd point it out.
There are a number of typos and oopies with the Advent Star Base.
Thanks for the mod, and continued support. It still looks great!
*BUMP*
Sorry for the lack of news. I have been busy lately. I have some new things coming in soon, hopefully before the 1.82 update so we can make a smooth transistion. Thx for your avid support.
Is the TEC Rebel ability to call in Pirate reinforcement removed or is it a bug?
It should be in now. Do you have the latest update?
I thought so, I'm using:
DS_v0.21R+FWSP-RG.7z
Well that is the latest. Well a new update is coming soon so it should be fixed. Even have a new picture for it.
Awesome, I did also notice a few icons for the research tree not looking as crisp as the original ones, more blurry like, is this something I can easily modify myself as I quite like to do icons
Those would be the research items we put in. Nacey did what he could but most of the early DS crew where more code monkeys then artists. rjhughes67 improved some (still working over the added strike craft but we will get there) but we are open for suggestions.
