First I would like to take the thank rjhughes67 for taking up this project. Nacey has had a lot of things on his plate and so he has not gotten around to Distant Stars lately. He says he will occasionally pop in with comments and ideas but his time is being taken up else where. I, Ryat, will continue to be forum moderator and master bug hunter for this project. And maybe the occasional change/addition.
Second I would like to thank Nacey, -Ue_Carbon, Draakjacht, Stant123 and Skyline (the originator of this mod) for all of their hard work on this project. Also give thanks to all the modders whose mod projects we used, abused and otherwise mutilated for our own mod.
And finally to our fans. Let's face it. Sins of a Solar Empire is a very moddable game and there are some excellent mods out there. We thank you for sticking with us.

So far no issues that I have seen. Had a death in the family (Grandpa at 102) so I was traveling some but overall fairly smooth, at least on the TEC side of things.
No issues thus far. Have played TEC, and Advent. Will be doing Vasari next

Finally I have a good chance to play some sins of a solar empire! WOOT! Its been some time since I have had some time to play.
We now have a "Sound Mod" Add-On to hopefully help with lag for those of you who may want it. Testing I have done shows improvements. This also includes all sounds from the base SoaSE game so the download is huge at 3.2GB . Instructions for placement are on the Distant Stars page at www.ricksgalaxy.com .

After more testing I have noticed huge improvements in lag by using the DS-Sound Mod.
I may have to try a game when I get time.

In the constants file in the mod...if I set superweapons to 0 will that remove them?
