We’re far from finished with Galactic Civilizations III, but we are thrilled to start sharing what the team has been hard at work on. You’ll have to forgive us for being a little cryptic about gameplay specifics that are still in development yet, but we hope you find the trailer an acceptable peace offering.
The whole point of Galactic Civilizations III is to live up to what our fans are hoping for without screwing up the core gameplay that make the franchise one of the highest-rated strategy series in history. So we’re adding hexes, because they make better maps. We’re putting new stuff out on the map besides anomalies, because it adds depth to how you explore and colonize the galaxy. Diplomacy and non-violent paths to victory have always been key aspects of Galactic Civilizations, so we’re adding tons more cool stuff to diplomacy (both mechanically and on the AI side) and adding more ways to interact beyond pushing your influence bubble into enemy territory.
And, of course, Galactic Civilizations III has fully featured online multiplayer. Yes, we heard you on that one.
There’s a lot more to talk about in the coming months, but for now I invite you to enjoy the trailer, read up on the lore and the history of the franchise, and browse through the FAQ. Whether or not you join the Founder’s program, we hope you’ll come back for more as we continue to pull back the curtain on Galactic Civilizations III.

How does one delete an unintentional post? I can edit it (as I am doing now) but no delete appears possible.
Late to the party but I made it!!
No there isn't, and not likely to have...
I wouldn't have a problem with Xbox gaming except that in 2006. Bill gates anounced that he was going to obsolete the compiter. Most people took this to mean gaming, so I will take it to mean this. So for every computer game that goes to the Xbox that is one step closer for Pc's to not have new games. Otherwise I have no reason to buy video gaming system when the computer is more flexible that's why I don't want to see computer games go to gaming system. Thanks goes to microsoft for declaring war on computer gaming.
I would support Galactic civilizations going to Lenux because I would like to see computers having a free operating system. Also windows is notorious for depriving the user from controlling the computer just take a look at the user interface instead of the desktop as the most recnt example. Whereas Lenux tries to do the opposite by trying to give the user as much control as possible. The problem Lenux has is that Microsoft tries really hard to restrict Lenux from having control of the hardware by bribing the hardware manufacturers.
I recently purchased Galactic Civilizations III. It was not advertised on Steam as either a beta or a pre-order, though there may have been links buried somewhere which would provide such disclaimers. The price point was not for an unfinished product. This is extremely misleading for customers. I was shocked when I ran the product for the first time and saw it was only a beta. The intro video plays fine but at the splash screen the text does not display (or is invisible due to font/color issues). None of the menu options have text so the player has no idea what they are doing. I will assume for a moment that this is a display bug. This renders the "game" unplayable for me. If you contact me via email at [removed] I will reply with my DXDIAG, as I see no way to post it here. PLEASE ISSUE ME A FULL REFUND. The game is unplayable and I do not have the time or interest to participate in any sort of beta test. Let me know when the full product is ready and will actually run on my platform. Thank you.

It's prominently displayed on the Steam store page that this is an early access game.
I'd recommend reading through the support FAQ and submitting a support ticket to help resolve your issues. I've also removed your email from your post as it isn't advised to display that on a public forum.
