Intro
Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence.
Features4 new factions: Interregnum will feature 2 new races each with 2 subfactions like vanilla Sins races...

With the third alpha release, the Rebel Alliance has been added, meaning this mod can now be used to relive the Galactic Civil War as well as the current war with the Sins factions. The militia and pirates have also been replaced with Star Wars versions; now the vast majority of material on the game map is clearly from a galaxy far, far away.

Pardon my interruption for this but there's something i like to ask MrGoaFan77 & anyone directly involved with Interregnum Mod creations...
Based on the SW Interregnum lore on SINS Factions part during long yet massive Interregnum War, does SINS factions stop running research on new, stronger units for their army like a new type of strike craft/frigates/cruisers???
Does each faction's Defense Structure, Star Base, Cap Ships & Titan gets a little modifications like added specialized weaponry/greater mobility/larger hangar & etc w/out changing most of their current aspect???
Example:
---- TEC factions focus on new type of armor???
---- HTS factions focus on Gauss Cannon & Railgun weapons???
---- Orthodox factions focus on studying the force & the similarity stuff???
---- Ascended factions focus on improving their shield mitigation & phase block effect???
---- VCC factions focus on greater mobility & experimenting their new energy-based weapons???
---- VIR factions focus on new type of Phase-based weapons since the Battle of Endor (based on lore) shows that Phase Missile & Cannon had little effect on Death Star & some of Empire Star Destroyer like Battlecruiser & SSD units..
I'm just asking since this mod is getting more and more interesting yet still stays the same on most part..
CAN ANYONE EXPLAINS WHY???
Here a related example to what i just posted..
These SINS factions found out that their fighters were almost outgunned by Imperials as they have little means to counter Imperial TIE Interceptor & Defender which leads them to believe that they should work on new type of fighter units in order to counter them although only limited availability of deployment as it' still experimental units
Also that their capital ships & titan can only weaken the Imperial with massive armada & joint effort of multi-purpose & specialized type of units which gives the Triple Alliance victory over Death Star's destruction & fragments of the Empire allows New Republic to be formed much earlier than original SW Universe (based on the movie & sourcebook)
Short version: SINS factions should get a new type of starfighter which capable of countering Imperial & even Rebel Alliance's specialized starfighter although limited numbers similar to TIE Defender only accessible to Cap Ships
--- Triple Alliance share the use of the new starfighter type while other 3 factions gets their own version through certain method (You guys get the picture)
--- Triple Alliance would use 1 new specialized weaponry based on their joint research venture and applied it to a selected warships like Kol Battleship, Radiance Battleship & Vulkoras Devastator (just to name a few)
--- Other 3 factions apply their current specialized weapons like Gauss Cannon for HTS to Kol Battleship & Marza Dreadnought, Multi-Beam Cannon to Radiance & Discord Battleship while VCC combines their Pulse Beam with Disintegrator or Phase Cannon with Wave Cannon (just to name it)
It's just a suggestion... NO OFFENSE HERE AT ALL... I'M JUST A GUY WHO WANNA SEE INTERREGNUM EVOLVE REALISTICALLY W/OUT DRASTIC CHANGES TO IT'S ORIGINAL PART... THATS ALL
ANYONE GOT A BETTER SUGGESTION, I'M ALL EARS....
Is there an up to date unit list for the Star Wars Factions? That includes units and their abilities, etc? Got a few friends wanting to try this but they are a little lost on unit selection, a resource to direct them to would be awesome!
I found this one for Ascendancy, but I think I like Interregnum a bit more.

Is there somewhere I can find info for what exactly the modded planetary bonuses/artifacts entail for this mod and the EX4 mod. I'm trying to use the modified galaxy forge and I have no Idea what the stats of the bonuses are.Edit:I just realized the SWI Galaxy Forge and the Modified Galaxy forge for both EX4 and SWI are missing the "Infinite Engine" Artifact when you edit planets.
