What happened to Global Warming?
When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.
Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in
I'd like some global warming back...

Another scientist with unassailable credentials, debunks man caused "global warming" from the angle of how it is detrimental for a true environmental fix, of actual environmental issues. Complete with charts that address actual data. Actual aspects & issues. Actual attainable solutions that don't involve heavy handed, State compulsion. That doesn't work. Based on longstanding solutions that have a track record of success. In other words a common sense presentation as opposed to the usual hyperbolic, chicken little claims of the climatista warmists.
Now if only we caould convince the twats in power who seem to the cure begins with a never ending assault on our hip pockets.

Yeah, like me... was 37c here in Brassall Qld australia today. Will be the same again tomorrow and for several days to come. According to the weather forecast it's going to be 40c+ here on Thursday, so it'll be a stinker. However, I do NOT blame so-called man made global warming. Far from it. Aboriginal tribal legends dating back hundreds of years tell of weather fluctuations/heat waves... and I believe they will continue for the next few hundred years, no matter what we do to so-say prevent global warming.

Alarmist, meet reality. Reality is cooling, has large quantities of expanding polar ice, and can be dependably relied upon to stay in this state for the next few decades. He enjoys long gradual slides, as well as extended climbs, and is a generally affable fellow that will do so regardless of the large quantities of bullshit being spewed to the contrary.

It doesn't concern you in the least that a climate change denier was funded by those with a financial interest in maintaining the denial?
The reason why I posted this was because it was mentioned over and over in this thread how the climate change alarmist were lying. It's rather ironic, that the climate change deniers, had the appearance of (but probably more than that) of a conflict of interest.
For those of you who may not understand what a conflict of interest is, I'll provide an example: You own a widget factory. The factory produces pollutants. Laws requiring you to purchase equipment to reduce the pollutants cost money. Additional cost reduce profits. You don't want your profits reduced, so you pay someone to do a study to show your pollutants are harmless. Since you are funding the researcher, he is more than likely to have bias in your favor...so that you'll hire him again next time. Because if his results don't tell the narrative you want your audience to hear, he'll be out of a job.
And yes, obviously this applies to the climate change alarmists as well.

I resort to name calling and mockery because it's more entertaining than posting for the umpteenth time that the UN doesn't fund contrary research, nor does the US. They only fund supporting research. If you don't support their goal, they cut your funding. I could tell you that the obvious and already well known(yes, those of us actually paying attention already know most of these guys have grants that are in part or whole, funded by energy companies and related sectors) potential for bias is equally matched or greater by the bias on the other side, but odds are it would go ignored just like all the other times.
Meanwhile, the guys making the equipment that reduces the pollutants have all the lawmakers in their back pocket while you get all excited over finding biased research. It's no great mystery why GE has dumped billions into "green" technology while pushing an environmentalist agenda with their television networks and financially backing the Democratic party. They've gotta keep the gravy train going on all those subsidies they get for their economically suicidal wind turbines.
